EnglishAbout Crafters
Last updated
Crafters is a whitelisted vanilla world that has run on the same map since 28 January 2021, and the team says it will never reset it. The goal is the feel of early 2010s multiplayer: settle near Spawn Castle, build a home and trade with neighbours without worrying that your chests get emptied.
You join by asking for the whitelist in the community Discord. The server recommends a small Fabric mod set with a minimap and voice chat, but voice is optional. Spawntown has shops, a book store and an event area, and the wiki tracks towns, map art and old legends.
What Makes It Different
The same world has been kept since January 2021, with nightly backups and monthly copies stored off the server, so old builds and their history stay.
A whitelisted shared vanilla world kept since 2021.
Vanilla survival on one map that never resets.
It is vanilla survival on a shared map. Most players settle in or near Spawntown, which has shops and a style guide that asks for Renaissance Italian looking buildings.
Player heads drop on every death and show who died and who did it; heads from before October 2023 became Legacy Heads.
Spawntown was the first town, founded on day one beside Spawn Castle. Its rivers and water passages were finished in March 2026, and other towns are listed in the wiki's Town Registry.
Spawntown has had an elected council, a courthouse and since June 2025 a king and queen. The wiki keeps stories like the lost Dragon's Egg from the first End trip in 2021.
New players ask for the whitelist through a ticket in the community Discord before joining.
Spawntown has grown since 2021, and other player towns are listed in the wiki's Town Registry.
The wiki keeps a Map Art Archive of pictures players have built on the server.
The server is built around no griefing or stealing, backed by logs and nightly backups.
Every death drops a player head that names the player and the killer, and older ones count as Legacy Heads.
The map has run since 28 January 2021 and the site says it will never be reset.
Spawntown's shopping district holds player shops, including a book store.
The recommended mod set includes voice chat, but you can play without it or just listen.

History of Crafters
Crafters opened on 28 January 2021 as Whitelist-Server, and Spawntown was founded the same day. Two days later KJNine killed the first Ender Dragon, and the Dragon's Egg has been missing since.
Player heads started dropping on kills in July 2021. On 4 October 2022 Bedrock players were let in, and in July 2023 the server moved to 1.20.1 and widened its world border to 50,000 blocks.
In June 2025 Spawntown became a monarchy. The world turned five on 28 January 2026, updated to 26.2 that July and added Bedrock support on 12 July 2026.
