About CosmosMC
CosmosMC is a public survival network with four connected modes: Earth SMP, classic Survival, Islands SMP, and OneBlock. Players can join without a whitelist, choose a mode at the shared hub, and move between communities on the same network. Custom vehicles, furniture, and other content load through an automatic resource pack.
What Makes It Different
CosmosMC combines a real-world Earth map with several long-term survival styles. You can build in your real hometown, grow a floating island above the void, or start from one regenerating block without changing networks.
Earth servers use a Minecraft map based on real-world geography, giving building, travel, and settlement a recognizable setting of continents, countries, and cities.
Earth SMP uses a 1:80 replica of real-world geography, including continents, countries, and coastlines.
OneBlock is a Minecraft mode built around repeatedly mining one regenerating block to gather resources and advance through phases.
OneBlock is a current gamemode beginning with one regenerating block and advancing through themed phases.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
Current gamemodes are explicitly designed not to reset, preserving builds, claims, islands, and player progress.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
All four current modes are persistent survival experiences built around gathering, building, exploration, and progression.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The network provides shared multiplayer survival worlds where players build communities and develop long-term projects.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Players earn and spend money through jobs, quests, fishing, property deals, and player-to-player trade.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Golden-shovel claims protect player land, builds, chests, animals, and other property.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Resource-pack content adds vehicles, furniture, and other custom gameplay objects without requiring client-side mods.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Islands SMP places players on floating islands above the void and uses island-based progression and expansion.
Join the hub, choose a gamemode, and start building. Earth SMP supports `/warp` travel and `/wild`, while OneBlock uses `/is create` to start a personal island. Golden-shovel claims protect land, builds, chests, and animals.
Earth and classic Survival progress through building, jobs, quests, fishing, trading, and property deals. OneBlock advances through themed phases from Plains toward the Nether and The End. Islands SMP uses biome fractals to unlock new dimensions.
Vehicles include planes, helicopters, trains, race cars, hoverbikes, tanks, tractors, and drills. Furniture and other custom features work through an automatically loaded resource pack, so mods are not required.
Earth SMP uses a 1:80 replica of real-world geography, including continents, countries, and coastlines. Classic Survival uses a 40,000 by 40,000 block world. Islands SMP places biomes on floating islands above the void, while OneBlock begins with one regenerating block in the sky.
PvP is centered on a dedicated arena with keep-inventory enabled, allowing players to fight without risking their normal gear.
The economy is player-run. Players earn money through jobs, quests, fishing, and real estate, then trade with one another at prices set by the community. There are no admin shops.
Community challenges, giveaways, and update activities are part of the network's event cycle. Discord is used for event and update announcements.
CosmosMC is free to join and has no whitelist or application process. Players can settle alone, build with friends, trade property, and use the shared hub to move between survival communities.
Cheating, hacked clients, macros, automation, exploiting, duplication, griefing, real-money trading, harassment, scams, impersonation, spam, advertising, and attacks against the services are prohibited. Land claims provide an additional layer of build protection.
The official store offers ranks, crates, cosmetics, and other purchases for the network. Vehicles and furniture can also be obtained with in-game money through gameplay.
Custom vehicles are controllable server-added transport machines that give players additional ways to travel through the Minecraft world.
Players can obtain planes, helicopters, trains, race cars, hoverbikes, tanks, tractors, and drills through the automatic resource pack.
OneBlock phases change the resources, drops, and progression available as players repeatedly mine the central regenerating block.
CosmosMC's OneBlock progresses through themed phases from Plains toward the Nether and The End.
Keep Inventory PvP allows players to fight in designated combat areas without losing their carried items when they die.
CosmosMC confines this protected combat format to a dedicated PvP arena, allowing fights without risking normal gear.
Property trading lets players buy, sell, or exchange developed land and buildings as valuable assets within a player economy.
CosmosMC supports real-estate activity, allowing players to earn money through property deals in its player-driven economy.
Permanent Builds are player-created structures preserved across visits instead of being routinely erased by scheduled world resets.
CosmosMC's Earth, Survival, Islands, and OneBlock worlds are intended to remain permanent, preserving builds and ongoing progress.
Furniture adds decorative objects that players use to furnish interiors, homes, shops, or other built spaces.
CosmosMC adds furniture through its automatically loaded resource pack, extending decoration options without requiring client-side mods.
Biome Fractals are separated or specially arranged biome regions that structure exploration and progression across an island-based Minecraft world.
Islands SMP uses biome fractals to unlock new dimensions as players develop their floating-island experience.
An automatic resource pack delivers server-specific visuals and content without requiring players to install a client-side mod.
CosmosMC automatically loads the resource pack needed for its vehicles, furniture, and other custom features, with no client mods required.

History of CosmosMC
By March 2020, CosmosMC was already operating as a public Minecraft network. From the beginning, its identity centered on several styles of play rather than one small SMP world: Earth-themed survival, classic Survival, OneBlock, and competitive gameplay.
Its Earth experience became a defining part of the network. CosmosMC provides a dedicated interactive Earth map, giving the Earth-themed survival mode a distinct world to explore and shape.
On March 28, 2021, the network expanded its progression and community systems. The update introduced spawn leaderboards, a shop using playtime points, PvP crates, monthly community challenges, and broader voting rewards.
Over time, CosmosMC developed beyond its original lineup. Its current network includes Earth SMP, classic Survival, Islands SMP, and OneBlock, combining established modes with an additional island-focused survival experience.
The server also added custom content without requiring client-side mods. An automatically loaded resource pack provides vehicles and furniture, extending the ways players can build and interact with the world.
Today, CosmosMC is operated by Lunars World LLC and continues as a multi-mode Minecraft network. Its identity rests on Earth exploration, survival progression, island and OneBlock gameplay, competitive systems, and community-supported features.
