History of ColdGame
ColdGame began operating in 2021 as an Iranian Minecraft server project. From its beginnings, it was planned as a network of multiple game modes rather than a single survival server.
The project's Discord community was created on April 1, 2022. It became a social hub for the network and its expanding plans, connecting the Persian-focused community around ColdGame's different activities.
As the network developed, ColdGame built an identity around custom content. Its systems included custom plugins, special items, a battle pass and seasonal features designed to give its modes a distinct style.
By October 2025, the network offered a broad lineup that included Survival, Skyblock, RolePlay, BedWars, ThePit, SkyMine, Practice and other mini-games. This marked a period in which ColdGame served both casual players and those looking for competitive modes.
SlimeFun later became a named part of the network's identity. Seasonal SlimeFun content added a more customized survival path alongside the established modes and gave the network another way to change its gameplay over time.
ColdGame also developed Cold Launcher as a dedicated way to access the server. The launcher is available for Windows, Linux and Android, and can install required files, apply settings, receive updates and connect players directly to ColdGame.
