About FreshSMP
FreshSMP is a public network built around shared Survival and high-risk Lifesteal, with Skyblock, Duels, and OneBlock for players who want a different pace. Build a base, gather resources, trade, fight, or jump between realms.
What Makes It Different
FreshSMP lets players switch between relaxed survival and serious player combat without leaving the same network. Its mix of claims, PvP zones, Lifesteal, custom gear, and a busy economy makes ordinary building feel more competitive.

Start in Survival by gathering materials, building a base, exploring the world, and taking part in the economy. Progress comes from gathering resources, trading, improving gear, and using the network's economy. Custom limited gear adds goals beyond standard Minecraft equipment. Gems can be used for crate keys, claim blocks, kits, cosmetics, and other rewards. Lifesteal progression also depends on keeping your hearts and winning fair fights.
Custom limited gear is one of FreshSMP's main additions. The network also includes Gems, kits, crates, cosmetics, realm-specific rewards, custom terrain, and dedicated combat areas.
Survival uses Terralith terrain and is built around exploration, bases, claims, outposts, and large player projects. Servers can reset for seasonal content and newer vanilla features, so major builds may not remain forever.
Survival has dedicated PvP areas, including a warzone and outposts. Lifesteal makes player combat a core part of the mode. Killing alternate accounts or friends to boost stats or hearts is forbidden. Survival rules also ban TP traps and attacks using lava, mobs, or other mechanics when PvP is disabled.
FreshSMP places strong emphasis on trading and server currency. Gems work across the network and can be spent in the /gemshop on crate keys, claim blocks, kits, cosmetics, and more. Players should be careful when trading because scamming with ordinary in-game items is allowed.
Events and server-wide conflicts are part of FreshSMP's public multiplayer style. Groups can gather around major fights, shared projects, seasonal content, and competitive realm activities.
FreshSMP is designed for public play rather than a small whitelist. Java and Bedrock players can play together, including players on mobile devices and consoles through Bedrock connection tools. Discord is used for community news and player support. Public chat is expected to remain in English, while private messages can use other languages.
Respectful chat is required. Spam, harassment, hate speech, advertising, adult content, hacked clients, unfair modifications, bug abuse, duping, punishment evasion, and lag-heavy mega farms are prohibited. Survival and Skyblock players must respect claims, and TP traps, portal traps, bedrock breaking, spawn griefing, and mass terrain damage are banned. Real-money and rank scams are prohibited, while ordinary in-game item scams are allowed.
FreshSMP is free to join and play. The official store offers ranks, crates, subscriptions, and Gems for different realms. Some purchases provide gameplay-related items such as kits and claim blocks, while others provide cosmetics or status perks. Store purchases are delivered in-game, and the support policy lists no refunds except assistance for missing deliveries.

History of FreshSMP
FreshSMP's community formed in June 2022 around plans for a public Minecraft network. The server was preparing to launch by August 26, 2022, with Java and Bedrock access at the center of its identity.
By September 2022, FreshSMP had become a public cross-platform SMP with a growing shared world. Early gameplay focused on building cities, forming governments, creating alliances, starting wars, and joining separate realms such as Lifesteal, Earth, and OneBlock.
During 2023, the network continued to combine open survival with creator-driven storytelling and public events. Survival, Lifesteal, Bedrock access, a shared world, and a web store remained central parts of the experience.
By 2024, Lifesteal had become a stronger part of FreshSMP's identity. Combat-focused play sat alongside the more relaxed building and exploration of Survival, giving the network a sharper competitive side.
The modern network has expanded its realm lineup with Survival, Lifesteal, Skyblock, Duels, and OneBlock. Its newer design adds custom limited gear, Terralith terrain, a heavy economy, PvP warzones, and outposts.
FreshSMP also moved toward seasonal development. Servers can reset to introduce new content and newer vanilla features, giving each era a fresh start while keeping the network's main mix of survival, combat, trading, and community play.
Today, FreshSMP is a large public Java-and-Bedrock network where players can choose between building and trading in Survival, risking hearts in Lifesteal, competing in Duels, or progressing through Skyblock and OneBlock.
