About Champions Ascent
Champions Ascent turns Cobblemon into a structured Pokémon campaign. Start in Kanto, earn eight badges and raise the level cap as you progress toward the Elite Four and Champion Blue, then keep playing through nine regions, wild trainers, outbreaks, raids, tournaments and a 100-floor Battle Tower.
What Makes It Different
The server combines a game-like Pokémon campaign with a persistent multiplayer progression layer. The eight-badge Kanto route leads into the League, while nine explorable regions, a 100-floor Battle Tower, legendary raids and a full Pokémon TCG give players separate long-term goals beyond simply catching Pokémon.
Players follow a badge-and-League journey through a designed multi-region world containing trainers, encounters, raids, and objectives.
Catching, training, battling, breeding, collecting, and exploring with Pokémon are the server's central systems.
The server requires Fabric and Cobblemon and adds extensive Pokémon, progression, trading, battle, and world systems.
Badges, level caps, quests, rewards, regional progression, and increasingly difficult encounters create long-term character-like advancement.
Battle Tower leaderboards, trainer battles, fixed challenges, and scheduled knockout tournaments provide structured competition.
PokéDollars, jobs, auctions, shops, trades, requests, mail offers, and token-based rewards form a substantial economy.
Legendary raids and Battle Tower bosses provide dedicated high-difficulty encounters beyond ordinary wild battles.
Daily catch contests, weekly tournaments, legendary raids, grand contests, and server-wide vote goals are recurring activities.
The Trainer's Journey, Battle Pass missions, and other tracked objectives provide guided tasks with progression rewards.
Players catch, train and battle Pokémon across a large custom world. Exploration includes route trainers, wild Pokémon with levels that rise farther from spawn, mass outbreaks, Alpha Pokémon, wild legendaries, fossil encounters, treasure chests and raid dens. The server also includes breeding, berry and apricorn farming, Poké Ball crafting, expeditions and Pokémon workers for base automation.
The main progression path is the Kanto Gym Challenge. Players earn eight badges, advance through rising level caps, then face the Elite Four and Champion Blue. Other progression tracks include the Trainer's Journey questline, a 100-level Battle Pass, regional Pokédex rewards, daily rewards, jobs, collection milestones and the Battle Tower, where bosses appear every ten floors.
Champions Ascent adds server-specific systems around Cobblemon, including gyms with badges, a League challenge, the Battle Tower, Trainer's Journey chapters, Battle Pass missions, Pokédex rewards, Pokémon TCG sets, jobs, expeditions, custom trading tools, land claims, cosmetic Pokémon skins, hats, wings, plushies and item skins. Supported battle systems include Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Terastallization and Dynamax.
The world is divided into nine themed regions based on Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar and Paldea. Wild Pokémon scale from low levels near spawn to much stronger encounters toward the outer areas. Routes contain NPC trainers, hidden treasure chests and raid dens, while outbreaks and rare encounters give explorers reasons to revisit familiar areas.
PvP is organized around trainer battles, the Battle Tower and scheduled tournaments. The Battle Tower supports Singles and Doubles, uses fixed competitive challenges and tracks a leaderboard. Weekly knockout tournaments use three Pokémon at level 50, with prizes for the highest-placing trainers.
Players earn PokéDollars through battles, gyms, the Battle Tower, jobs and other activities. Trading includes a protected two-sided trade interface, Wonder Trade, an Auction House, player shops, a Request Board with escrowed rewards, offline mail offers and a Shard Shop. TCG cards also connect collecting with a separate token economy.
The published event schedule includes daily catch contests, a weekly grand contest, weekly trainer tournaments and weekly legendary raids. Legendary raids reward participation with Legendary Tokens, while server-wide vote goals can trigger a Shiny Boost or Legendary Spike for everyone.
Players can cooperate on legendary raids, trade Pokémon and items, use player shops, post requests for wanted Pokémon, join tournaments and protect their bases with land claims. The official Discord provides the main community hub outside the Minecraft server.
The server presents itself as not pay-to-win. Pokémon, legendary Pokémon, shinies and battle advantages are not sold. Paid items are described as cosmetics and convenience perks such as extra homes, claims, kits and shorter cooldowns.
The 100-floor Battle Tower offers Singles and Doubles challenges, optional handicaps, leaderboard progress, and a boss every ten floors.
Players defeat eight Kanto gyms, earn badges, and raise level caps before attempting the Elite Four and Champion Blue.
Weekly legendary raids let players cooperate against legendary Pokémon and earn Legendary Tokens for participating.
The world spans nine themed Pokémon regions: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, and Paldea.
The server provides a protected two-sided trade interface for exchanging Pokémon or items with other players.
After earning eight Kanto badges, players challenge the Elite Four and then Champion Blue as the campaign's primary capstone.
The Kanto badge route raises Pokémon level caps as players advance through the gym campaign toward the League.
The server includes full Pokémon TCG sets, with card collecting connected to a separate token economy.
Players can request wanted Pokémon through a board with escrowed rewards for successful fulfillment.
Regional Pokédex completion provides rewards, giving collection progress a purpose beyond simply obtaining individual Pokémon.
Wild Pokémon levels rise farther from spawn, making outward exploration progressively more dangerous and rewarding.
The Battle Tower supports both Singles and Doubles challenges, while weekly knockout tournaments use teams of three Pokémon at level 50.
The server provides a Trainer's Journey questline as an additional guided progression track alongside the Kanto badge campaign.
Players can use Wonder Trade as an additional Pokémon exchange method alongside direct trades, shops, and auctions.
Pokémon workers provide base automation as a separate utility system alongside farming, crafting, and collection.
The schedule includes daily catch contests and a weekly grand contest for competing collectors.
Players can progress through a 100-level Battle Pass with missions that provide another long-term reward path.
Players can craft Poké Balls while exploring, farming apricorns, and building their Pokémon collection.
The economy includes an Auction House for player-mediated sales in addition to shops and direct trading tools.
The world includes mass outbreaks alongside ordinary routes and wild encounters, giving collectors additional reasons to revisit regions.
Mega Evolution is one of the server's supported Pokémon battle systems alongside other transformation mechanics.
Terastallization is supported as one of the server's available Pokémon battle mechanics.
Players can grow berries and apricorns as part of the server's farming and Poké Ball supply systems.
Alpha Pokémon appear among the server's special wild encounters for explorers seeking rarer or more challenging finds.
Offline mail offers let players contact others with trade opportunities even when the recipient is away from the server.
Available cosmetics include Pokémon skins, hats, wings, plushies, and item skins rather than battle advantages.
Breeding is available as a dedicated Pokémon collection and team-development activity within the server's Cobblemon progression.
Dynamax is supported alongside Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, and Terastallization in the server's battle systems.
Z-Moves are available as one of the server's supported battle systems for trainer and team combat.
