About PokeKingdoms
PokeKingdoms is a Java Cobblemon survival server where catching and training a team sits alongside the usual Minecraft work of mining, farming, building and protecting a base. The main world is shaped by land claims and Kingdoms, so friends can pool resources, build a shared stronghold and compete for kingdom progress without turning every road into open combat. PvP is reserved for designated areas, while the wider world is built for gathering, trading and PvE.
Trainer progression runs from early catches and breeding to gym badges, the Elite Four and a player-run competitive scene. Battle Tower stages, raids, boss Pokémon, PokéHunts, dex rewards and custom dimensions such as Area Zero and Ultra Space give geared teams somewhere to go after the first base is finished. The server also layers in Mega Evolution, Terastallization, Z-Moves, Dynamax and Gigantamax, alongside rideable Pokémon, custom skins, plushies and furniture.
Money moves through shops, auction-style trading, GTS and direct player trades, with Pokémon, resources and team-building materials feeding the same economy. Kingdom boosts, claims, breeding, EV training and hunt rewards create reasons to keep working between gym battles, while recurring tournaments, treasure hunts, drop parties, races and shiny-rate days break up the grind.
PokeKingdoms launched on November 28, 2025 as a new Cobblemon server built around Kingdoms, tournaments, hunts and the Battle Tower. It expanded through late 2025 and 2026 with boss battles and Mega Evolutions, then added Z-Move trials, collectible plushies and furniture, new raid and endgame areas, a wider world border, and the newer Dynamax and Gigantamax systems. The result is still recognizably a survival server, but its long-term goals now lean heavily toward completing, breeding and battling a Pokémon collection.
The rules keep griefing, stealing, cheating, illegitimate Pokémon and real-money Pokémon sales out of ordinary play. The store sells ranks, crate keys, boosts and seasonal passes, with purchases presented as cosmetic or convenience-focused rather than direct combat power. Discord, in-game helpop and ticket support handle reports and appeals, and the staff team is organized around three owners.
Cobblemon is a modded Minecraft experience where players find, catch, train, and battle Pokémon-like creatures while exploring the world.
The server is built around the Cobblemon mod, Pokémon collection, team building, gyms and trainer progression.
Bosses are unusually powerful Minecraft enemies that demand more preparation and deliberate combat than ordinary mobs.
Boss Pokémon and raid encounters provide dedicated high-difficulty PvE targets with special rewards.
Factions is a Minecraft multiplayer mode where players join organized groups, build shared bases, and compete with rival groups for territory, resources, and strategic advantage.
Kingdoms let players form organized groups, share territory and pursue group progress and boosts.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players mine, farm, build, explore and protect bases in a shared survival world.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
Gyms, the Elite Four, Battle Tower, raids, bosses and custom dimensions provide substantial enemy-focused progression.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Currency, shops, auction-style trading, GTS and direct Pokémon trading materially shape progression.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Players protect bases and shared builds with claim regions and trusted-player permissions.
Competitive Minecraft gameplay centers on outperforming other players in contests with a clear winner, score, or relative result.
Gym battles, player gyms, tournaments and the Battle Tower create repeatable competitive goals.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Z-Rings, Mega items, Dynamax equipment, custom collectibles and other special items extend normal Cobblemon progression.
Events are organized Minecraft activities that give players a distinct objective and rules for a particular occasion or limited period.
The server runs recurring tournaments, hunts, drop parties, races, shiny bonuses and community activities.
A normal session starts with ordinary survival work, then quickly branches into Pokémon activities. Mine and build enough to secure a base, claim the surrounding land, catch a useful team, and use shops or player trading to fill gaps in your supplies. From there, you might chase a PokéHunt, breed for better stats, challenge a gym, enter the Battle Tower, join a raid, or travel into Area Zero or Ultra Space for tougher encounters.
Kingdoms give group play a reason to continue after the first shelter and starter team. Friends can share a base, coordinate resources and pursue kingdom progress, while solo players can focus on collection, breeding, economy or PvE content. Combat is more structured than the survival world, with designated PvP areas, gym battles, tournaments and player-led competitive formats providing the main tests against other trainers.
Progression is split between the Minecraft world and the Pokémon collection. Gear, resources, claims, money and kingdom improvements make the survival side stronger, while captures, breeding, EV training, dex completion, badges and battle-ready teams build the trainer side. Gym victories lead toward the Elite Four, and the Battle Tower, raids, bosses and custom dimensions provide later challenges for developed teams.
Mega Evolution, Terastallization, Z-Moves and Dynamax add further goals beyond simply leveling Pokémon. Some systems require dedicated items, trials, rewards or preparation, so progression continues through team building and collection rather than ending when a player has diamond gear and a finished base.
Cobblemon supplies the foundation, while PokeKingdoms adds server-specific progression around it. Current systems include Mega Evolution, Terastallization, Z-Moves, Dynamax and Gigantamax, plus boss Pokémon, raids, PokéHunts, custom skins, rideable Pokémon, plushies and furniture.
The official modpack also bundles performance improvements, Xaero's minimap and world map, inventory conveniences and other client-side quality-of-life changes. Custom dimensions such as Area Zero and Ultra Space give the collection and battle systems destinations beyond ordinary Minecraft terrain.
PokeKingdoms centers on a shared survival world with protected claims and Kingdoms. Players build bases, farms and shared strongholds in the overworld, then travel to separate activity areas for gyms, the Battle Tower, raids and other challenges. Area Zero and Ultra Space function as custom destinations for later exploration and combat.
The server has expanded its world border during development, but no reliable current reset schedule is established. The available evidence supports a persistent survival setting rather than a routine seasonal reset model.
PvP is limited to designated areas instead of being enabled across the whole survival world. The main competitive pressure comes from gym battles, player-run gyms, tournaments and other organized formats, with rules varying between events and the player league. Pokémon preparation matters more than raw Minecraft equipment, so breeding, EV training, movesets and battle gimmicks shape the serious fights.
The economy connects resource gathering, Pokémon collecting and player trade. Players earn currency through normal play, hunts, events and selling goods, then spend it on resources, Pokémon-related items, team-building supplies and upgrades. Shops, auction-style trading, GTS, Wondertrade and direct Pokémon trades give several ways to move value between players.
The economy has been rebalanced during the server's development, including cheaper prices aimed at new players. Claim blocks and other convenience purchases also interact with how quickly players establish and expand their bases.
Recurring events include Pokémon tournaments, treasure hunts, drop parties, Pokémon races, shiny-rate bonuses and other seasonal or community activities. Tournaments have included cash prizes alongside in-game rewards, while drop parties and hunt events mix rare Pokémon, items and keys into short scheduled activities. Community-run events can also be arranged through staff.
Kingdoms, player trading, player gyms and the Elite Four give the community several ways to organize beyond ordinary survival. Trainers can build together, trade Pokémon and resources, compete in the player league, or join scheduled events through Discord. The server's public support structure also uses Discord chat, tickets and in-game helpop rather than relying on a single support channel.
Griefing, stealing, cheating, unauthorized mods, exploit use, illegitimate or duped Pokémon, trading scams and releasing another player's Pokémon are prohibited. PvP is allowed only in designated areas, bases must remain within reasonable limits, and public chat is expected to remain family-friendly and use English. Selling Pokémon for real money is also forbidden.
Punishments range from warnings and temporary bans to permanent bans for severe violations or ban evasion. Ban appeals and player reports are handled through Discord.
The store sells ranks, rank upgrades, crate keys, boosts and seasonal passes. Its stated policy is non-pay-to-win, with purchases described as cosmetic or convenience-focused rather than direct combat advantages. A recent server update also lists purchasable claim blocks, so spending can affect building convenience and expansion speed even though the store does not present paid combat power as its model.
