EnglishAbout Boredom MC
Last updated
Boredom MC keeps Minecraft close to vanilla on purpose. There is no land claiming, no /home, no /tpa and no /warp, so you walk, build and trade the old way. Datapacks add small comforts like mob heads, mini blocks, custom nether portals and over 1,000 extra advancements, and a world border that grows every month keeps neighbours close.
To join, you read the rules and apply through the server's Discord. PvP only happens when both players agree, and griefing and stealing are banned. The homepage describes the players as a tight-knit, mature community of adults, and Java players can add optional proximity voice chat.
What Makes It Different
It runs like a Hermitcraft-style season: no teleports or claims, a border that opens up monthly, and every finished season's world saved for download.
Kept close to vanilla, with only light datapacks and helper plugins.
A whitelisted community SMP run in seasons, five so far.
Vanilla survival with no teleports, homes or land claims.
You play vanilla survival with light datapacks: mobs and players drop heads, the stonecutter makes mini blocks and paintings, and the Warden drops Swift Sneak books. Hatbags hidden in loot chests hold over 100 cosmetic hats.
The world border expands each month so newer players still find fresh land to explore. Finished season worlds, including the Season 3 hardcore world, are up for download on the site.
Regular events include build competitions, PvP battles, seasonal districts and mini-games.
No PvP without both players agreeing first, no griefing, no stealing and no x-ray or ore-finding packs. Helper mods like Litematica, MiniHUD and Xaero's minimap are allowed. Your application has to mention Balto, the server mascot, to show you read the rules.
The server is supported by donations and a small merch shop. Nothing in the shop is a gameplay item.
A Dynmap shows the Overworld, Nether and End so you can see the builds.
Each finished season's world is up for download, including the Season 3 hardcore world.
You join by applying through the server's Discord after reading the rules.
PvP is only allowed when both players agree first, and you can toggle it off.
The Blaze and Caves datapack adds over 1,000 extra advancements, counted in the tab list.
Hatbags found in loot chests open into more than 100 custom hats.
Stonecutter recipes for wood and deepslate, plus crafting for coral blocks, red sand and calcite.
Community events include build competitions alongside PvP battles and mini-games.
Optional proximity voice chat lets you talk to players near you in game.
