About Bora SMP
Build a base, gather resources, explore, and talk to nearby players in Bora SMP, a small survival server that keeps its systems close to classic Minecraft. Its current setup adds land claims, proximity voice chat, and a handful of teleport and home commands without turning survival into a kit-heavy or shop-driven network.
What Makes It Different
Bora combines a deliberately light survival ruleset with proximity voice chat and open-world PvP. The server describes itself as a light-anarchy experience, while still providing land claims and basic travel commands to make long-term survival more practical.
Proximity voice chat is repeatedly identified as a central community feature, making nearby conversation part of shared-world play.
The server preserves classic Minecraft survival while adding land claims, proximity voice chat, and a small set of convenience commands.
Land claims provide a confirmed build-protection layer for player bases and other areas in the survival world.
Survival is the server’s primary mode, centered on gathering resources, crafting equipment, building bases, exploring, and surviving hostile mobs.
Bora SMP is a shared-world survival experience where players build, explore, interact, and progress alongside one another.
PvP is explicitly advertised as a major activity alongside survival and PvE in the shared world.
The main experience is familiar Minecraft survival: gather resources, craft equipment, build, explore, fight hostile mobs, and decide how much you want to interact with other players. PvP is part of the advertised experience, and /home, /spawn, /tpa, and /rtp reduce the friction of moving around a shared world.
Progression is resource-based and player-driven. The server advertises no kits and no overpowered features, so advancement comes from ordinary gathering, crafting, building, exploration, and equipment upgrades rather than predefined power packages.
The custom layer is intentionally light. Confirmed player-facing additions include land claims, proximity voice chat, /home, /spawn, /tpa, and /rtp, while the core world remains close to vanilla survival.
Bora is presented as a raw, relaxed survival world for building, exploration, PvP, and hanging out with a small community. The server is currently reachable at 26.2 with a 32-player capacity, and its MOTD reads "bora is back :)".
PvP is one of Bora SMP's advertised activities, alongside PvE. Land claims provide a separate build-protection layer, but players should clarify the server's combat, raiding, TNT, safe-zone, and combat-logging boundaries before treating the world as unrestricted.
No shops or kits are advertised, keeping the visible progression focused on resources and items players gather and craft. There is no confirmed information about a currency, auction house, NPC shops, or other large server economy.
Bora is sized for a small group rather than a large public network. Proximity voice chat makes nearby conversation part of the experience, and the server is aimed at players who want to build, explore, PvP, or play at their own pace in a relaxed community.
The advertised social approach is simple: play fair, be yourself, and help shape the world. Bora is framed as a light-anarchy server rather than a heavily restricted one, so players should confirm the exact limits around griefing, raiding, PvP, and protected areas before settling in.
Joining is presented as free, and no store, paid ranks, or donation perks are advertised in the server descriptions. The absence of advertised shops and kits also keeps the visible gameplay away from purchase-driven progression.
