What Makes It Different
BL-Modern gives TerraFirmaGreg-Modern players two sharply different ways to inhabit the same modpack ecosystem. TFGM-1 protects claimed bases and disables PvP, while TFGM-2 allows combat beyond spawn and protected claims, so players can choose between a safer technical survival experience and a more competitive world.
BL-Modern is built around TerraFirmaGreg-Modern and several additional modpack destinations accessed through a dedicated launcher.

The early game follows TerraFirmaGreg's low-tech survival start rather than handing players a conventional vanilla toolkit. Loose stone, primitive tools, and the first hearth form the initial progression, after which the full TFGM-Modern pack provides the longer technical path. BL-Modern also publishes player guides for difficult parts of the modded progression.
BL-Modern provides its own launcher, a shared BL-Modern account across the network, website player profiles, guides, reviews, galleries, player reports, and support tools. The main BL-Modern destination is TerraFirmaGreg-Modern on Minecraft 1.20.1. TFGM-1 is available at play.bl-modern.ru:25565, while the separate PvP world is listed as tfgm2.bl-modern.ru. The network also provides StoneBlock 4, GregTech Odyssey, Create Aeronautics, Star Technology, and other modded worlds. Its rendered world map is regenerated on a schedule rather than updated in real time, so recent construction can take time to appear.
TFGM-1 is the no-PvP server and is intended as the protected place to learn the modpack. On TFGM-2, PvP is allowed outside spawn and players' claimed bases. The network's terms also prohibit attacks on players on servers where PvP is disabled and prohibit griefing or damage outside areas permitted by the server rules.
BL-Modern uses BL-coins as internal credits. One BL-coin is valued at one ruble for purchases within the service, and coins can be earned through approved guides, events, and promotions. The network also has a marketplace where listings and sales use BL-coins, with a commission deducted from completed sales.
Events and promotions can award BL-coins. A launch promotion on 3 October 2026 doubled BL-coins received from balance top-ups for a limited period, and the network also connects player-written guides and community activity with its internal rewards system.
BL-Modern is a Russian-language network with website guides, player profiles, reviews, galleries, creator content, and a shared account system across its modpack servers. Discord is part of the wider community and moderation workflow, while support is handled through the website and in-game reporting tools.
Use FTB Chunks from the inventory to mark and protect territory. Griefing complaints should include screenshots and can be submitted from the offending player's website profile. Ban and mute appeals go through BL-Modern support and are assessed using chat and Discord logs. TFGM-1 prohibits player attacks, while TFGM-2 permits PvP outside its protected areas. The network may remove access for rule violations and does not return unused paid privileges after a rule-based block.
The store sells Copper, Bronze, and Steel statuses, available for 30 days or permanently, along with BL-coin packages. History of BL-Modern
BL-Modern opened on 16 January 2026 with a TerraFirmaGreg-Modern-focused server network. Its current ecosystem has since expanded beyond TFGM to include several other modpack destinations under the same BL-Modern account system.
