About Banana Sandwich
Banana Sandwich is an 18+ Hermitcraft-inspired SMP built around large community projects, nearby voice chat, and a player-run world. You can settle down, join a town, open a shop, or spend your time on builds and redstone without worrying about random raids or griefing.
What Makes It Different
The world is opened in stages instead of giving everyone the whole map immediately. Community events unlock new areas, while required proximity chat makes ordinary encounters feel much more social.
Proximity voice chat lets Minecraft players speak through audio that becomes quieter or inaudible as their in-game characters move apart.
Nearby voice communication is required and shapes the social experience.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
Vanilla mechanics remain central while quality-of-life additions are enabled.
Events are organized Minecraft activities that give players a distinct objective and rules for a particular occasion or limited period.
Regular player-made events and progression events are central to the season.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is a survival-focused SMP.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server centers on a shared community survival world.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Diamonds and player-operated shops form a major part of progression.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server is explicitly presented as vanilla-inspired and keeps the standard Minecraft experience.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
The Shopping District is built and operated by players.
This is a vanilla-plus survival SMP rather than a heavily modded network. The core game stays familiar, with quality-of-life additions such as invisible item frames, custom armor-stand posing, and sit or ride commands. Litematica Easy Place is allowed, but Printer Mode is not.
Season 4 began with a fresh world on May 15, 2026. The world border and Nether border expand through community milestones and events. The End stayed closed during the first month, then opened with a server-wide dragon event. Elytra access was arranged so later arrivals were not permanently locked out.
Custom additions focus on presentation and convenience rather than replacing Minecraft's survival systems. The server uses in-house quality-of-life features, decorative item-frame and armor-stand tools, sitting and riding commands, and balance changes intended to keep rare resources accessible across the season.
The main world is designed for long-term community building, with settlements, cities, a central Shopping District, and an expanding Nether transport network. A BlueMap-style live world map is part of the server's quality-of-life setup. The border system keeps new terrain and resources tied to the season's progress.
PvP is consent-based. Both players must agree before fighting, and ordinary stealing, griefing, pet killing, and destructive pranks are forbidden. Competitive events can still provide structured combat and prizes without turning the survival world into an open-raiding server.
The economy is based on diamonds and player-run shops. The Shopping District is divided into several major areas and includes dozens of shops selling building materials and other goods. Prices are treated as fixed, with scams and monopolistic behavior prohibited.
Player-made events run regularly and include build contests, competitive games, themed celebrations, court-style roleplay, and large progression moments. Season 4 included launch activities, a dragon opening event, cake competitions, and rotating games such as Murder Mystery and zombie survival on a separate events server.
The community is strictly 18+ and uses Discord for applications, updates, support, and social coordination. Proximity voice chat is required, and English is required in public in-game chat. The server suits players who enjoy talking while building, joining group projects, and becoming part of an established circle.
Players must respect claims, builds, chests, drops, and shop prices. Claims are coordinated through Discord, with extra building limits around Spawn and the Shopping District. Harassment, hate speech, doxing, advertising, destructive pranks, hacked clients, X-Ray, Baritone, seed cracking, item duplication, and Litematica Printer Mode are banned. Large redstone machines need an off switch, and excessive entities are restricted.
The store sells cosmetic effects, trails, subscriptions, supporter options, and tips. Gameplay advantages are not sold, and the server is presented as zero pay-to-win.
