About Vulengate
Vulengate is a survival network built for long-term play. Choose one of six color-coded realms, gather resources, protect a home, earn money through jobs, and grow from a new Hobo into a powerful veteran.
The main worlds are calm places for building, towns, shops, and shared projects. Monthly resource worlds keep mining and gathering fresh, while custom enchants, bosses, crates, fishing contests, and community events give experienced players plenty of extra goals.
What Makes It Different
Vulengate combines a peaceful, protected survival world with a surprisingly deep collection game. You can build safely, then chase rare crate items, custom enchants, bosses, fishing rewards, and rank perks for months.
Events are organized Minecraft activities that give players a distinct objective and rules for a particular occasion or limited period.
The server runs recurring build, art, fishing, scavenger, minigame, and scroll events.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
Mob hunting, bosses, resource gathering, custom gear, and progression provide substantial PvE content.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom-textured items, crate rewards, special tools, and collectible equipment are central features.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a long-term survival experience.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Player homes, towns, shops, claims, and shared projects define the multiplayer format.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, auctions, chest shops, markets, and player trading are major progression systems.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claimed land is the main way players protect bases and organize towns.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
Main build worlds persist while separate resource worlds handle regular resets.
Pick a realm and use `/rtp` to find a place in the main world. A claim shovel lets you protect your base, while `/home` helps you return quickly.
Use `/resource` for overworld materials and the resource Nether for dangerous Nether gathering. Resource worlds reset regularly, but the main build worlds are persistent.
Player towns, public farms, player warps, shops, and shared builds make it easy to play alone or find a place in an established community.
Every new player begins at Hobo rank. Earn in-game money, then rank up through a ladder that unlocks more homes, jobs, claim blocks, vault space, auction slots, commands, and access to additional dimensions.
The server also has seven jobs. Mining, fishing, farming, hunting, woodcutting, digging, and enchanting can all earn money while you play. Job levels improve your payouts and can award special job tags at the top level.
Custom content is central to Vulengate. The server has more than 100 custom enchants across Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary tiers. These can change combat, movement, mining, healing, durability, and utility.
Other custom systems include themed crates, collectible items, animated bosses, special tools, seasonal fish, cluescrolls, battle passes, cosmetics, and Artmap. Artmap lets players paint 32 by 32 pixel artworks on in-game canvases.
Vulengate has six main realms: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, and Orange. The realms use the same broad rules and systems, but each has its own community and builds.
Each main build world has a 40,000 by 40,000 border. Separate resource worlds provide renewable gathering space and reset on a regular monthly cycle. The End and other special areas unlock through progression.
PvP is available, but Vulengate is not an anarchy server. Claims and protected areas help secure important builds, while custom enchants add combat effects such as lifesteal, lightning, freezing, knockback, and damage boosts.
Keep Inventory reduces the cost of dying, but resource worlds do not provide the same player protection as claimed main-world land. Boss fights and organized PvP events offer more focused combat.
The player economy uses in-game money earned from jobs, selling items, shops, auctions, and special activities.
The Auction House handles quick item sales. Chest shops let players set their own prices. Two themed markets provide rentable plots for larger shops, and the Black Market runs scheduled auctions for older crate collectibles.
Events include themed build contests, Artmap competitions, Hide and Seek, Scavenger Hunts, seasonal minigames, fishing contests, PvP tournaments, and extended scroll challenges.
Fishing contests can begin hourly when enough players are online. Extended scrolls ask players to complete demanding gathering, breeding, combat, and collection tasks for keys, temporary flight, and commemorative rewards.
Vulengate has an English-speaking Discord community, player-run towns, public farms, player warps, markets, and shared building projects. Towns can be open to everyone or use an application process.
An official town warp normally requires an active group, a mayor, a path, a public farm, a town hall, and a clear way for new residents to join. The community also has an events team for server-wide activities.
Griefing and raiding are prohibited. Keep Inventory is enabled. Main-world claims protect player builds, while resource worlds do not provide player protection.
Players should use the in-game rules and Discord support channels for the complete current policy before building, trading, or taking part in events.
The official store sells optional ranks, rank upgrades, crate keys, boosts, cosmetics, morphs, wardrobe items, battle passes, and gift cards.
In-game progression ranks are bought with server currency. Store-exclusive ranks mainly provide cosmetic or convenience features, while many useful rewards can also come from voting, events, crates, and gameplay.
History of Vulengate
Vulengate began on February 11, 2017 as a single survival realm. Its early identity centered on improved vanilla survival, protected land, player trading, jobs, mcMMO, custom enchants, events, and creative community projects.
The first major expansion came on March 14, 2018, when the Red and Blue realms opened. That date also marked a reset of Vulengate's original world history, beginning the long-running era of the color-coded realm network.
Yellow opened on March 25, 2019. During this period, Vulengate expanded its progression systems with more jobs, custom enchantments, player markets, improved spawners, and a deeper in-game rank ladder.
Purple opened on April 3, 2020. The network continued moving beyond basic survival through seasonal crates, custom items, special tools, fishing rewards, and increasingly elaborate community events.
Orange opened on December 6, 2020, completing the six-realm structure used today. Each realm kept the same broad systems while developing its own player community, towns, builds, and local traditions.
A new spawn built around a large spruce tree debuted in April 2021. Around the same era, Vulengate added systems such as the Black Market, expanded crate archives, job progression, claim features, and more ways to collect rare gear.
By 2024, the server's events included themed build contests, art competitions, scavenger hunts, fishing contests, and challenging extended scrolls. Player-created towns became a major part of the social experience, with official warps available to organized communities.
In February 2025, Vulengate celebrated eight years with six realms, more than 100 custom enchants, nearly 90 crate themes, custom-textured items, animated bosses, and Bedrock compatibility. Today it remains a feature-rich survival SMP focused on protected building, player commerce, collection, and community projects.
