EnglishAbout Vernearth
Vernearth brings several distinct Minecraft experiences into one persistent network. Oblivion is the main survival world, combining custom terrain, unusual mobs, player-built settlements, lore-filled NPCs, and three major capital cities. Separate spaces focus on creative plots, arena PvP, and limited-time hardcore challenges with one life per season.
What Makes It Different
Vernearth treats its survival world as a large shared art setting as much as a place to gather resources and build. Custom blocks, strange mobs, handcrafted biomes, memorial spaces, lore NPCs, and player-made landmarks give the world a stronger authored identity than a conventional survival server, while the network still makes room for competitive arenas and creative plots.
Hardcore servers make death a severe, often permanent loss that can end a player’s run or remove them from active play.
Challenge Mode gives players one life per seasonal world, making death a severe lasting consequence.
Arena gameplay puts players into bounded battlegrounds for discrete fights or challenges, with each bout ending in a win, loss, elimination, or completed objective.
The PvP experience uses multiple bespoke bounded arenas for repeated competitive fights and events.
Creative is a Minecraft building mode where players construct and test structures with unrestricted access to building materials instead of gathering them through survival play.
Plotworld provides creative plots, collaborative building, plot merging, limited WorldEdit, and build contests.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Oblivion is the network’s main world for gathering resources, building bases, exploring, and surviving custom threats.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Dedicated PvP arenas support duels, Last Man Standing, tournaments, and combat-focused rewards.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
Oblivion is intended to retain player-made changes and expand rather than undergo routine wipes.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
The server adds custom blocks, items, mobs, NPCs, biomes, rare drops, and redesigned dimensions.
Events are organized Minecraft activities that give players a distinct objective and rules for a particular occasion or limited period.
Recurring tournaments, monthly build contests, and 45-day Challenge Mode seasons organize distinct activities.
Oblivion is the main survival experience. Players explore custom-generated terrain, gather resources, build bases, encounter unusual mobs, and discover lore through NPCs and landmarks spread across the world. Custom mobs can drop rare materials, giving exploration and farming reasons beyond ordinary Minecraft loot.
Progress comes through survival building, resource gathering, custom loot, exploration, and the discovery of new parts of the world. Challenge Mode uses a separate one-life format with 45-day seasons, where survivors can earn permanent titles, exclusive cosmetics, Hall of Heroes placement, and a share of the prize pool.
Vernearth adds custom blocks, mobs, NPCs, biomes, items, and lore elements while keeping Minecraft’s block-based foundation. Creator interviews also describe redesigned Nether and End areas, rare drops from custom mobs, and themed environments such as the Neon Waste.
Oblivion is a persistent custom survival world with unusual terrain, custom biomes, dark surreal themes, and three named capital cities: Raziel, Seniomsed, and The City of Eternal. The wider world also includes player-built homes, monuments, community landmarks, and memorial spaces.
The PvP/Event side is built around bespoke arenas including The Circle Sphere, The Blood Square, The Blood Oval, and UnEden. Planned formats include Duels and Last Man Standing, with tournament play and War currency used for exclusive items and cosmetics.
The competitive side uses War currency as a reward for PvP and event participation. It is used to unlock server-specific cosmetics and items rather than serving as the main economy of the Oblivion survival world.
The network is designed around recurring PvP tournaments, monthly build contests in Plotworld, and 45-day Challenge Mode seasons. Challenge seasons introduce new themes, custom generation, unusual mechanics, and high-stakes objectives.
Plotworld provides a shared creative area where players can build, merge plots, host gatherings, and enter build contests. The wider community also shapes the world through monuments, shared landmarks, player culture, and discoveries recorded through the server’s Discord community.
Challenge Mode has a strict one-life rule. General building, PvP, trading, and conduct rules should be checked through the server’s current Discord guidance before joining the main world.
Seasonal challenges are limited-period objectives or competitions that give players additional goals and rewards alongside persistent gameplay.
Challenge Mode runs 45-day seasons with new themes, custom generation, unusual mechanics, and high-stakes objectives.
Custom mobs add server-created creatures or enemy variants with encounters beyond ordinary Minecraft hostile mobs.
Oblivion contains unusual custom mobs that create additional threats and provide reasons to explore and fight beyond standard hostile creatures.
Custom biomes are server-designed environmental regions that add distinctive terrain, resources, scenery, or exploration opportunities beyond standard world generation.
Oblivion includes handcrafted biomes and themed environments such as the Neon Waste across its custom-generated survival world.
War currency is a dedicated reward currency earned through combat or competitive activities and exchanged for associated goods or benefits.
Vernearth awards War currency for PvP and event participation, which players use to unlock exclusive items and cosmetics.
Rare mob drops are uncommon materials or items obtained by defeating particular creatures, encouraging targeted hunting and collection.
Custom mobs in Oblivion can drop rare materials, making combat and farming useful for acquiring resources beyond ordinary Minecraft loot.
Plot merging combines adjacent protected building plots into a larger continuous area for expansive construction projects.
Plotworld supports merging plots so players can create larger shared projects and community spaces within its creative area.
Permanent titles are lasting player designations awarded for accomplishments and retained beyond the activity or season that granted them.
Challenge Mode survivors can earn permanent titles as part of the rewards for completing its one-life seasonal competition.
Lore NPCs are non-player characters that convey setting information, stories, clues, or world context through interaction.
Lore-filled NPCs are spread through Oblivion and help players discover the setting alongside landmarks, capitals, and other authored locations.
Redesigned dimensions are substantially customized versions of Minecraft dimensions with altered environments, generation, or thematic presentation.
Vernearth’s custom content includes redesigned Nether and End areas in addition to its custom overworld environments.
Custom capitals are prominent designed cities that serve as major landmarks, hubs, or destinations within a server world.
Oblivion includes three named capital cities—Raziel, Seniomsed, and The City of Eternal—within its persistent custom world.
A Hall of Heroes is a lasting recognition display that commemorates notable players or achievements within a server community.
Challenge Mode rewards can include placement in Vernearth’s Hall of Heroes, publicly recognizing successful seasonal survivors.
Limited WorldEdit provides restricted access to editing tools that accelerate or simplify repetitive creative construction tasks.
Plotworld includes limited WorldEdit alongside creative plots, giving builders controlled tools for larger or more efficient projects.

History of Vernearth
Vernearth grew from a long-running world-building effort by Shawn “Clown” Crahan, with early versions developed outside Minecraft before the idea moved into a playable Minecraft world. The result was intended as a persistent setting that could keep expanding rather than a server built around routine wipes.
