About ValhallaMC
ValhallaMC is a free modded Minecraft network for Java players. Instead of one big world, it runs a long list of modpack servers, each with its own address. You pick a pack, install the same version with the FTB App, CurseForge or Technic, and join that server.
The packs range from long expert tech packs like GT New Horizons and Nomifactory to All the Mods 10, Skyblock packs like FTB Skies 2 and StoneBlock 4, and RPG packs like Arcadia. Most packs let you claim chunks to keep your base safe. The community speaks English.
What Makes It Different
It hosts a large set of expert and tech modpacks, including older 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 packs that few servers still run, and keeps the worlds of retired servers for you to download.

Every server runs a modpack, from GT New Horizons to All the Mods 10.
Several sky packs run, including FTB Skies 2, StoneBlock 4 and ATM10 To the Sky.
Each server is a normal survival world for its modpack. You play the pack's own quests and progression with other players, mostly PvE.
Worlds are rarely reset, and resets are announced early. Servers with no players for several weeks may be removed, and their worlds are saved for download.
Items are only blocked when they crash the server or hurt other players. Chunk loading may be limited on packs where it causes lag.
Free to join with no pay-to-win. Donations through Patreon and Ko-fi help pay for the servers and give no gameplay perks.
Most packs use FTB Utilities or Open Parties and Claims, so you claim chunks from the map screen.
Worlds from retired servers are saved, and you can download them to keep your old base.
Tech packs are built around making machines that mine, craft and process items for you.
Every player gets the same game, and donations unlock no gameplay perks.
Expert packs like GT New Horizons, Nomifactory and Star Technology take you from simple tools to huge factories.
You choose from a long list of modpack servers, each with its own world and address.
A stats page ranks the modpack servers by how many people play them, so you can see where players are.
On many packs you can keep claimed chunks loaded so machines keep running, with limits where it causes lag.
