Pick a side in Middle-earth. The One Ring runs the Lord of the Rings mod on Minecraft 1.7.10, so you install the server's own modpack and step into a big shared world full of player factions, trade deals and organized wars. Building, events, trade and PvP are the heart of it.
New players can grab basic supplies cheaply at the spawn market, then set up shop or join a faction from its hall at spawn. Builders may fly, the Overworld and Nether are open, and enchanting is vanilla. The rare prize is a Lore Item: an enchanted weapon or piece of gear drawn from Middle-earth's history. The community asks for respect and maturity.

History of The One Ring
The One Ring was established in early 2014 as a Lord of the Rings server. The idea was set from the start: a shared Middle-earth where players build, trade, hold events and go to war with each other through their own factions.
More than ten years on, the server still runs the Lord of the Rings mod on Minecraft 1.7.10 and keeps its own modpack so joining stays simple. The official pack on CurseForge reached version 36.15 in July 2024, with a matching Technic pack and a Tiles resource pack from the same team.
