About SkyMata
SkyMata is a feature-heavy survival SMP where players can build alone, join towns and nations, or focus on custom progression. Land claims protect projects, while player shops, auctions, quests, and resource worlds give the server more structure than plain survival.
What Makes It Different
SkyMata mixes a friendly town-building SMP with Avatar-style earth and fire bending. Its custom gear, creatures, quests, and gathering systems make normal survival activities feel more like a long-running adventure server.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.

SkyMata adds custom mobs, weapons, tools, armor, enchantments, backpacks, utility items, pets, dragons, collectibles, decor, crates, and elemental bending. Custom fishing, mining, and farming systems add extra goals to familiar activities.
The main survival world uses custom biomes and structures, with towns and nations supporting larger player settlements. Separate resource worlds provide places to gather materials without turning the main building areas into permanent mines.
PvP is controlled rather than constant. Players can use a PvP toggle, and attacking people without consent is treated as a punishable offense. The server is not built around unrestricted raiding or anarchy combat.
The economy includes player-owned shops, auctions, trading, marketplace activity, and server shops. Players can earn from farming, mining, fishing, quests, events, and selling items to other players.
Events include fishing, mining, and farming tournaments, build competitions, treasure hunts, scavenger hunts, escape-room activities, server-wide events, and limited reward days.
The community is centered around Discord, in-game chat, towns, player shops, and proximity voice chat. English is the main supported language, and the server presents itself as LGBTQIA+-friendly and welcoming to players on different devices.
Rules cover harassment, advertising, spam, racism, sexual content, griefing, PvP without consent, cheating, auto-clicking, duping, exploit abuse, lag machines, doxxing, and other disruptive behavior. Moderation uses escalating strikes, with appeals handled through staff contact channels.
Paid ranks, perks, rewards, and other packages are available. Purchases are treated as final and non-refundable, and payment disputes or chargebacks can lead to permanent removal from the server network.

SkyMata was running by late 2022 as a Java-and-Bedrock survival server with a fantasy theme. Its early feature set already included elemental bending, custom biomes, custom mobs, quests, player shops, auctions, and land protection.
