SecretCraft is a German CityBuild network where players buy or rent plots, open shops and help shape large player-run towns. Town leaders can set local rules, sell or rent plots, and manage the look of their own city.
What Makes It Different
The standout feature is the town system. Players do more than own a plot: they can build inside larger cities, run local shops, and help decide how a whole town is organized.
CityBuild is a Minecraft building mode where players develop homes, businesses, and public spaces into connected urban districts.
The central mode revolves around plots, towns, city management and player construction.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
The server prominently uses a job-based way to earn money and progress.
mcMMO is a Minecraft server skill system that grants experience for activities such as mining, chopping trees, fishing, and fighting.
mcMMO skills are part of the main progression described for the network.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.

Jobs and mcMMO skills add long-term levels to normal play. SecretPass, achievements, levelable animals, pets and custom items provide extra goals beyond basic building and mining.
SecretCraft uses self-developed plugins alongside custom items, SecretPass content, pets with gameplay effects, levelable animals and more than 400 achievements.
The main experience is divided into separate city worlds, with more than 50 cities available for player development. The network also includes a Skyblock server and additional minigame spaces.
PvP is part of the wider event and minigame lineup rather than the main CityBuild focus. Players looking for constant open-world combat will find a more building- and economy-led experience here.
The economy combines jobs, an admin shop, player shops, contracts and lottery-style activities. A custom tax system is used to control player income and reduce runaway inflation.
The network runs regular community events, with special holiday activities and prizes. Minigames, team activities, PvP events and Skyblock provide breaks from the main city economy.
SecretCraft is German-language and built around town cooperation, trading and player-run businesses. Weekly community meetings and an event team give the network a structured social side.
Players can join without staff approval; account activation is handled by the player.

SecretCraft was running by August 5, 2018, as a German CityBuild and economy server. Its early feature set already focused on player-managed property, jobs, shops and a server-wide trading system rather than plain vanilla survival.
