About RevivalSMP
RevivalSMP mixes a competitive Lifesteal SMP with a larger world-hosting platform. Kills steal hearts, deaths cost hearts, and reaching zero sends you into a ghost state instead of ending your story immediately.
What Makes It Different
Two systems give RevivalSMP its own feel. Your hearts are both your combat life and a valuable resource, while dying turns you into a ghost with ways to return. Beyond the main SMP, players can also create community worlds that grow when other players support them.
Lifesteal is a Minecraft PvP survival mode where player kills and deaths change a player’s maximum health.
Heart stealing and heart loss are the main survival and combat mechanic.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The main world keeps player progress instead of using routine map resets.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The main mode is a shared multiplayer survival world.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The primary experience is a persistent survival world with progression and player interaction.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Lifesteal combat, duels, bounties, invasions, and PvP arenas are central systems.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Money, Souls, auction trading, shops, bounties, and player payments shape progression.
The main world uses random teleport, homes, player teleport requests, quests, skills, companions, trading, an auction house, and a web dashboard. Community Worlds sit beside the main SMP and can be reached through the spawn portals or the /worlds menu.
Progress is split between hearts, money, and Souls. Hearts control your survival in Lifesteal fights. Money handles ordinary shops and trading, while Souls unlock special shops, relics, enchantment parts, potions, and upgrades at the Ashen Smith. Contracts, skills, pets, crates, and custom tools add longer-term goals.
Custom systems include ghost phases, Soul Fragments, Heart Tributes, Dark Contracts, an 11-skill RPG system, server-side AI companions, the Ashen Smith, Mythic Tools, Soul Signs, and a large enchantment pool. Wraith and Tenebrion are special boss encounters tied to the ghost and ritual systems.
The main world has a gothic spawn with cathedrals, soul-fire towers, and a graveyard for fallen players. Progress carries through the persistent SMP world. The current Chaos Cubed era adds sulfur caves, sulfur springs, sulfur cubes, and geysers. Community Worlds support templates such as Skyblock, Creative, Survival Island, Void, OneBlock, and Amplified, along with uploaded vanilla or modded worlds.
PvP is built around stealing hearts from kills and losing them on death. Duels provide dedicated 1v1 and team arenas, with practice bots and ranked competition. Bounties, invasions, the Dark Zone, Dark Towers, and a five-second combat tag create extra reasons to fight without making every battle an improvised arena match.
RevivalSMP uses separate Money and Souls currencies. Money works in the Trader's Shop, player payments, bounties, and the auction house. Souls power themed shops, relics, enchantment components, potions, and heart-related systems. Players can also trade directly or place orders through the Crypt Ledger.
Dark Towers run as a recurring large-scale event with multiple tiers. The Dark Zone creates temporary random PvP arenas, while Wraith and Tenebrion encounters give ghosts and living players reasons to cooperate. The server also supports community-created worlds and player artwork through its marketplace tools.
Java and Bedrock players share the same network without needing mods to connect. Discord provides the main social and support space, while the web dashboard offers profiles, chat, leaderboards, economy tools, activity information, and the live map. Community World creators can share their builds and earn a portion of Heart Key spending.
The in-game /rules command provides the rules summary, and formal ban appeals are available through the server's appeal system. Combat tagging lasts five seconds.
Paid options include Revival+, cosmetic ranks and effects, crate keys, companion pets, and Heart Keys for Community Worlds. Crate keys can also be earned through gameplay. Community World owners receive a 50% share of Heart Key spending on their worlds.

History of RevivalSMP
RevivalSMP launched on February 22, 2026, as a Lifesteal survival server with Java-and-Bedrock support, duels, a persistent world, and a custom ghost system. Its early focus was combat with real stakes, but death was designed as a temporary state rather than a simple server ban.
