Health is a resource you cannot casually refill on PlayUHC. The server centers on UHC matches where players gather, prepare, and fight under restricted natural regeneration, with formats ranging from quick Meetups and Duels to longer Vanilla UHC, team games, Dragon Rush, Moles, and scenario-heavy variants.
The same network also connects to PlayMCG, adding an SMP and compact minigames such as Hide and Seek, Payload, Survival Games, Block Dash, Block Memory, Beaconwatch, and Treasure Hunters. Creative plots, an always-on UHC FFA Arena, and community-hosted matches give the network alternatives to standard UHC rounds.
What Makes It Different
PlayUHC makes the UHC ruleset unusually configurable. Its scenario library changes fundamental parts of gathering, crafting, combat, and healing, while Scenario Madness lets players vote on combinations of scenarios. Eligible hosts can also create private or public custom games with adjustable teams, borders, scenarios, and moderation controls.
UHC is a high-stakes survival PvP format where natural health regeneration is disabled or heavily restricted, making damage difficult to undo.
UHC matches are the server’s defining experience, covering short and long formats with restricted natural regeneration and varied scenarios.
Minigames are compact Minecraft games with their own rules, objective, and bounded play area, usually resolved in a single round.

Most PlayUHC progression happens inside individual matches rather than through one permanent campaign. Players improve by learning scenarios, choosing efficient routes, managing limited healing, and adapting to different PvP rules. Longer-term progress comes from shared network statistics, playtime ranks, creative work, and donor perks, while the linked SMP provides a more persistent survival-style path.
The server's defining custom layer is its large scenario system. Scenarios can alter ore drops, crafting, movement, healing, mobs, world hazards, team behavior, and combat rules. Custom Games give eligible hosts control over team sizes, borders, scenarios, countdowns, moderation, spectator handling, and other match settings.
UHC games use purpose-built match worlds with borders, timed meetups, scenario changes, and objectives that vary by mode. The network also has a protected creative plot server and a PlayMCG survival world. PlayMCG minigames use compact maps built around objectives such as minecart control, block matching, hiding, resource collection, or a shrinking battle area.
PvP is central to the UHC side. Natural regeneration is restricted, so golden apples, golden heads, and other limited healing matter during fights. The network also offers Duels, an always-on FFA Arena, Moles with friendly fire, Survival Games, team matches, and custom games. Rules prohibit combat logging, solo-game teaming, cross-teaming, early attacks before PvP starts, excessive targeting, and hiding during final meetups.
PlayUHC supports Reddit UHC matches and community-hosted events. Event Hosts can organize recurring UHC games, while Content Creators and other eligible hosts can use Custom Games for private or public matches. The network also has a history of organizing custom server builds and events for creators.
Players can connect the network to Discord with the in-game sync command. Support is handled through helpop, reports, tickets, appeals, Discord support channels, and a suggestions forum. The network also uses applications for moderator, builder, content creator, and event host roles.
The rules prohibit hate speech, abusive language, cheating, unfair advantages, exploit abuse, combat logging, portal trapping, PvP skybasing, cross-teaming, stat boosting, advertising other servers, public VPNs, and unofficial cracked accounts. Players are expected to use /report for suspected cheaters and appeal privately rather than argue punishments in public chat.
The network is funded through donations handled on Ko-fi. Donations grant permanent Supporter, Patron, or Keeper ranks based on total contributions, while each €5 donated grants one month of Titan time. Rank perks include cosmetics, hub flight, full-game access, statistics features, private Custom Games, and additional SMP claim blocks. History of PlayUHC
PlayUHC began in summer 2016 as a server focused on Ultra Hardcore matches, including scenario-based variants, an FFA arena, creative plots, and support for hosted Reddit UHC games.
PlayMCG joined the network on December 19, 2020, bringing a survival multiplayer server and its own minigames. The two sides share statistics and can be reached through the same network hub, so the server has grown from a focused UHC destination into a broader collection of match-based games and survival play.
