PlayClan gives you four places to start: Kingdoms, where you build and defend a kingdom and fight other players, SkyBlock on a tiny island over the void, a classic Survival world, and team BedWars. Kingdoms is still in beta, and the team posts every fix in its news.
The Survival world has jobs, plots you can claim, graves that keep your items, pets and 72 extra enchantments. In March 2026 the team promised the server is not pay-to-win and never will be. Everything is in Hungarian, and you play on Java.
What Makes It Different
The team has publicly promised that PlayClan is not pay-to-win and that players will not be asked to pay for keeping it running.
You pick a job on Survival and Kingdoms, with its own job shop.
Team BedWars with arenas for 2, 3, 4 or 8 teams.
A SkyBlock server with quests, trading and the 1.4 Nether update.
A classic Survival world with jobs, plots, graves and extra enchantments.
PlayCoin money, auction houses and shops across the modes.
Kingdoms mixes building with strategy: you manage your kingdom, defend your base and score points in PvP duels, with jobs, pets, skills and dungeons on top. SkyBlock starts you on a floating island with quests and trading, and BedWars has 2, 3, 4 and 8 team arenas.
PvP lives in BedWars, where your bed is your respawn point, and in Kingdoms duels between players.
PlayCoin is the server money. Survival and Kingdoms both have an auction house, and Survival has a job shop.
The team runs events such as a BedWars PlayCoin evening and posts a timetable on the website.
Cheat clients, AFK machines and griefing are banned, as are insults, racist or sexist content and trading items for real money. Using another account to dodge a ban is not allowed.
The team says the server is not pay-to-win and that the people running it cover the costs through their own work.
Survival and Kingdoms both have an auction house where you sell items to other players.
The Survival 1.2 update added 72 new enchantments to work toward.
On Survival you claim land and use a plot system so nobody can wreck your base.
The SkyBlock 1.4 Nether update added the Lava Beast, a fire boss that drops rare loot.
In March 2026 the team promised PlayClan is not pay-to-win and will not become one.
Survival and Kingdoms both let you keep a pet that follows you around.
Survival has graves, so your items wait for you where you died.
On Survival you choose a job and spend what you earn in the job shop; Kingdoms has jobs too.

History of PlayClan
PlayClan started in 2019 as a Hungarian Minecraft network. In December 2023 the team shared that it runs its own two server machines in a data center in Budapest, and in March 2024 it updated its servers and opened new ones.
February 2026 brought Survival 1.2, with jobs, plots, graves, pets and 72 new enchantments. On 1 March 2026 the team posted a fresh start, promising the server is not pay-to-win and will not be paid for by players.
A busy week followed. SkyBlock 1.4, the Nether update, arrived on 8 March 2026 with a new spawn and the Lava Beast boss. Kingdoms opened as an early beta the same day, and its world was reset the next day to fix world generation problems.
