About PichuCraft
PichuCraft is a Java survival SMP that adds RPG progression to a relaxed PvE world. McMMO, skills, character levels, and jobs give normal survival activities a longer-term purpose, while custom-generated worlds provide more room to explore and build.
What Makes It Different
PichuCraft mixes protected PvE survival with several kinds of character growth. Mining, combat, jobs, fishing, and regular play can all feed into skills and levels instead of being isolated activities.
An RPG server makes Minecraft revolve around developing a character through adventures, combat, and other challenges.
Skills, levels, jobs, and character upgrades add RPG progression.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
PvE is a central focus of the gameplay.
mcMMO is a Minecraft server skill system that grants experience for activities such as mining, chopping trees, fishing, and fighting.
McMMO is a named progression system used by the server.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the server's main game mode.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is structured as a multiplayer survival community.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Server shops, player shops, auctions, jobs, and trading are major systems.
Players can use custom-generated worlds, random teleporting, player warps, shops, auctions, chat games, and playtime rewards. Keep-inventory reduces the punishment for ordinary deaths, while claims protect the places players build.
McMMO, Aurelium Skills, a separate levels system, and jobs give players several progression tracks. Levels are intended to be unlockable through gameplay rather than being locked behind payment.
Custom fishing, Safari Nets, custom menus, leaderboards, McMMO, Aurelium Skills, and other plugins add systems beyond standard survival. These extras give the server a light RPG feel without requiring a modded client.
PichuCraft uses unique worlds with custom-generated terrain. Random teleporting helps players reach fresh areas, while claims provide protected space for bases and community builds.
The server is built around PvE and survival progression rather than faction warfare or competitive PvP. Land claims and anti-grief protections make the world more suitable for builders and cooperative players.
The economy includes a server shop, player shops or chest shops, auctions, player warps, and jobs. Trading is a central way to turn gathered resources and crafted goods into useful progress.
Weekend events, chat games, leaderboards, Pinata Party activities, vote rewards, and playtime rewards give players reasons to return outside ordinary building and resource gathering.
PichuCraft is aimed at a small, friendly, inclusive community. Discord synchronization connects the in-game group with its wider community space, and the server has been promoted as LGBTQ+ friendly.
Land claims protect builds, and griefing is not allowed. GriefPrevention or GriefDefender-style protection and customizable claim settings are part of the server's safety setup.
The network has an official web store, while levels are advertised as unlockable without paying. Voting and playtime rewards provide additional gameplay-based reward paths.
History of PichuCraft
PichuCraft was already running by February 2014 as a Pixelmon survival server using the play.pichucraft.com address. That earlier era focused on breeding Pokémon, flying Pokémon, and community events such as tournaments, catching contests, boss hunts, treasure hunts, and fishing contests.
By August 2023, PichuCraft was being introduced as a newly founded Java survival community at the same address. The focus had shifted from Pixelmon to PvE survival with RPG upgrades, custom terrain, an economy, land protection, and a small-community approach.
During September and October 2023, the server's survival systems were promoted around McMMO, Aurelium Skills, character levels, jobs, shops, auctions, player warps, random teleporting, keep-inventory, and customizable claims. The goal was a survival world with more progression without turning basic access into a paid wall.
By November 2023, the feature set included custom fishing, Safari Nets, Discord synchronization, playtime rewards, vote rewards, chat games, leaderboards, and Pinata Party activities. These additions pushed PichuCraft further toward an enhanced survival server rather than a strictly vanilla SMP.
PichuCraft now presents a protected, PvE-focused survival experience with RPG-style skills, player trading, custom worlds, and extra activities layered over the usual Minecraft sandbox.
