About Penguin.GG
Penguin.GG is a crossplay Minecraft network built around seasonal Skyblock and a separate Survival world. On Skyblock, you start with a small island, build farms, earn money and Skycoins, and compete with solo or team islands. Survival adds an open world, claims, guilds and McMMO skills.
The server mixes familiar Minecraft with fast progression, custom tools, ranks, crates and regular resets. Its biggest draw is the SB737 community connection. Its biggest tradeoff is a store that can speed up progress and add random rewards.
What Makes It Different
Penguin.GG feels like a public Skyblock league built around seasons, island rankings and team competition. The SB737 connection also gives it a strong creator-community identity that ordinary survival servers usually lack.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Skyblock is the network's main long-running competitive mode.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Currencies, auctions, trading, notes, spawners and store-linked progression are central systems.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is a major network mode with claims, guilds and its own progression.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The Survival mode is presented as multiplayer survival with teams, claims and community play.
Skyblock starts you on an island with limited space and basic resources. Expand it with farms, generators, minions and spawners. Solo players and teams can compete for island rankings.
Survival uses a larger world with claims and guild-style teams. Players can gather resources, build bases, trade items and improve McMMO skills. Auctions and player trading add another way to turn resources into progress.
Skyblock progression revolves around island value, Skycoins, upgrades, minions, spawners and seasonal leaderboards. Solo and team islands follow different competition rules.
Survival has its own ranks, Sapphires, grind-pass rewards and guild competition. When a mode resets, some items may disappear, while purchased ranks and perks are intended to remain.
Penguin.GG adds custom currencies, enchantment books, minions, spawners, generators, sell wands, kits, grind passes and crate rewards. Skyblock ranks can also unlock commands such as flight, repair, virtual workbenches, vaults, extra homes and auction listings.
Skyblock is split into player-owned islands, with solo and team formats. Survival uses a shared world where players can form guilds and protect land with claims.
The network follows a seasonal model, so mode-specific progress can change between seasons. Purchased ranks and perks are treated separately from resettable gameplay items.
PvP is available, but it is not an unrestricted anarchy experience. Claim trapping, teleport trapping, kill boosting and malicious inventory tactics are forbidden. Players should expect combat to matter in designated or vulnerable areas while protected claims reduce some base-building risks.
Skyblock uses Skycoins and island-value competition. Survival has a separate Sapphire currency system. Auctions, player trades, notes, spawners and sell tools support the in-game economy.
The server store also sells ranks, currencies, crate keys and grind passes. Some store products can provide boosts, kits, multipliers, extra commands or random rewards.
The network runs competitive activities tied to leaderboards and seasonal payouts. KOTH restrictions and a dedicated Events server are part of the rule system. Event abuse, alt-based advantages and other attempts to manipulate results are prohibited.
Penguin.GG is closely associated with SB737 and his Minecraft audience. Players can use the official Discord for support and community contact. The server is designed for large groups, island teams and players who enjoy public competition.
Public chat is English-only, although other languages can be used in private messages, party chat or island chat. Spam, advertising, harassment, impersonation, scams, griefing, duping, hacking, autoclicking and unfair macros are forbidden.
Players may use up to three alternate accounts beyond their main account, but alt use is restricted. Island and guild competition also has special rules covering boosting, wealth transfers, member cycling and leaderboard manipulation.
The official store sells Skyblock and Survival ranks, rank upgrades, currencies, crate keys, titles, perks and grind passes. Skyblock ranks currently range from low-cost starter ranks to the $159.99 Penguin rank, while Survival ranks reach $159.99 for Emerald.
Store ranks can add gameplay perks such as flight, kits, multipliers, extra storage and special commands. Crate keys can provide random currencies, books, spawners and tools. Payments are final under the store's stated no-refund policy.

History of Penguin.GG
Penguin.GG launched in 2022 as a Skyblock-focused Minecraft network associated with the YouTuber SB737. Its early identity centered on inviting his audience into a shared server where players could build islands and follow his gameplay.
From the beginning, the network supported both Java and Bedrock players. Early seasons focused on island growth, team competition and leaderboard rewards, giving the server a more structured feel than a simple private SMP.
Survival SMP joined the network as it expanded. By 2024, Penguin.GG was running another Skyblock season while keeping Survival as a separate part of the network. The two modes developed different progression paths, currencies and store sections.
Skyblock gradually grew beyond basic island building. Players gained access to Skycoins, minions, spawners, enchantment books, sell wands, generators, crates and island ranking contests. Solo and team rules became a major part of how competitive seasons were managed.
The server also went through a monetization reform after criticism of earlier pay-to-win gambling mechanics. Its current store still sells ranks, keys, currencies and passes, but the earlier gambling system became a prominent turning point in Penguin.GG's history.
Survival developed its own identity through claims, guild-style teams, McMMO bonuses, auctions and a separate rank ladder. Seasonal resets became part of the network's rhythm, with ranks and perks lasting longer than many mode-specific items.
Today, Penguin.GG remains a creator-linked, crossplay network focused on competitive Skyblock and progression-heavy Survival. It combines island leaderboards and seasonal goals with a large community, a formal rule system and optional purchases that can change the speed of advancement.
