EnglishAbout ObiWorld
ObiWorld combines a shared survival server with a large menu of minigames and progression challenges. Players can build and explore with grief prevention and keep inventory, then switch into BedWars, duels, parkour, paintball, chess, custom arenas, and server-made games such as LaserTag, FreezeTag, and Combat FlightCraft.
What Makes It Different
ObiWorld’s strongest difference is how much of its minigame and progression content is built around custom mechanics rather than only standard network modes. Survival progression leads into job-based ranks, mob trials, custom bosses, sentinel fights, magic wands, and special weapons, while the minigame list includes several server-specific games.
Minigames are compact Minecraft games with their own rules, objective, and bounded play area, usually resolved in a single round.
The server provides a broad collection of standalone games and arenas alongside survival.
BedWars is a Minecraft PvP match where players defend a bed that prevents permanent elimination while they work to destroy their opponents’ beds.
BedWars is directly listed among the server’s playable minigames.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
Jobs provide money, levels, and access to several player ranks.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server’s main world is a survival experience with building, exploration, grief prevention, and keep inventory.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Money, banks, auction-house slots, shops, and job earnings are central to part of the progression system.
The main world focuses on ordinary survival building with grief prevention and keep inventory. Players can leave survival for BedWars, duels, paintball, parkour, mazes, spleef, chess, soccer, and other compact games, with dedicated arenas for both player combat and hostile-mob challenges.
Progression is split between jobs, player ranks, and combat trials. Job levels lead to ranks such as Trader and Merchant, while the Slayer, Gladiator, Gladiator+, and Legend paths require increasingly difficult mob, boss, and sentinel challenges. Higher ranks unlock practical perks including more jobs, auction-house slots, sethomes, flight, and custom wand access.
Custom content includes server-made minigame plugins, custom magic wands, potions, weapons, custom boss mobs, NPC enemies, advancement paths, and Combat FlightCraft. The official rank system also ties specific abilities and recipes to earned progression.
The survival side is built for long-term building and exploration rather than a purely match-based experience. Grief prevention and keep inventory reduce the cost of establishing bases and gathering resources, while separate arenas and themed areas provide destinations outside the main survival routine.
PvP appears in duels, custom arenas, BedWars, and the higher combat-rank trials. The colosseum path mixes player skill with boss mobs, NPC fights, and sentinel encounters, giving combat-focused players goals beyond ordinary survival gear.
Jobs provide a repeatable way to earn money and advance through the rank ladder. The server also uses an auction house, player trading features, NPC shop access, bank-balance requirements, and rank perks tied to commercial progression.
ObiWorld is aimed at a family-friendly audience and presents itself as a small, social server where players can move between survival, minigames, jobs, and shared challenges. Its community focus is reinforced by active moderation and staff visibility in chat.
Family-friendly conduct is a central moderation goal. Staff monitor chat remotely, and parents can request a setting that allows a child to play only while staff are online.
The server is not configured to accept donations, and no official donation store is exposed.
