About Oasis SMP
Oasis SMP adds a lot of depth to survival without turning into a full minigame network. You claim land, build up skills, choose jobs, complete missions, and make money through player trading. Custom fishing, decor, recipes, and utility systems give the server more to do after the first diamond gear grind.
What Makes It Different
Fishing is the standout twist. Oasis turns it into a proper side activity with collectible fish, bait choices, a journal, boosted fishing areas, and timed competitions. The server also makes ordinary survival tasks matter through jobs, skills, missions, and rank progression.
Jobs is a progression system that rewards players for repeatedly performing defined Minecraft activities, such as mining, farming, fishing, building, or hunting mobs.
Eight jobs provide income for normal Minecraft activities.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Display shops, auction trading, and player warps support a strong player-run market.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claiming and managing land is one of the server's main systems.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally an enhanced survival experience.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is built around shared multiplayer survival.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs, missions, shops, auctions, player warps, and rank costs create a major economy layer.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom fish, bait, tools, recipes, decor, skins, and utility items are central additions.
Land claims are central to everyday play. Create a land, manage its members, and protect your base and belongings. Use RTP to reach different worlds, then combine survival building with jobs, missions, fishing, shops, auctions, custom recipes, and quality-of-life commands.
Eleven skills improve as you play and can raise useful stats such as strength. Jobs pay for normal activities like mining, farming, fishing, building, enchanting, and fighting. Daily and weekly missions add extra goals. Rankups unlock more job slots, while Saharan-rank players can prestige for $1,500,000 and receive extra claims, skill boosts, flight access, backpacks, a tag, and prestige cosmetics.
A custom resource pack adds textures and models for server content. Oasis includes more than 90 custom fish, different bait types, a fish journal, custom recipes, decor, furniture, tool skins, safari nets, silk spawners, item filters, and other convenience features.
The network uses several worlds with RTP access. Resource Overworld, Nether, and End worlds are designed for gathering and reset every two weeks. Resource worlds cannot be claimed and use keep-inventory; Nether and End resource access is tied to higher ranks. The End resource reset also brings back an Ender Dragon and its dragon egg.
Oasis is primarily a PvE survival server rather than a dedicated PvP mode. Land claims give players a way to protect their bases, while the main progression comes from survival work, skills, jobs, missions, and trading.
Money is the main in-game currency. Jobs provide steady income, daily missions reset with random objectives, and weekly missions pay more for harder tasks. Players can trade through the auction house, create display shops, and set up public player warps. Player warps cost money to create and maintain, so shop locations become an ongoing economic choice.
Fishing competitions include shortest-fish contests, and weekend competitions run every two hours. Vote parties and boosters provide additional server-wide reward moments, with booster announcements also connected to the Discord events channel.
Players can create public player warps for shops, community builds, land spawns, and other shared spaces. Display shops and the auction house support player-to-player trade, while Discord provides the main community and support hub.
The official store sells Coins for use in /coinshop. Coins can be spent on donor ranks, cosmetics, crate keys, and limited-time items.
