About MurderRIP
MurderRIP is now a team-based Lifesteal survival server. You form a team, gather gear, claim a base, and fight over the hearts that determine who grows stronger. Kills change maximum health, so even a routine trip for resources can turn into a hunt, ambush, or rescue mission.
Teams share territory and power, with shield timers and claim resets shaping when a base is vulnerable. Land belonging to a team that has been inactive for 48 hours can be raided, giving active groups a reason to scout quiet bases and prepare attacks. Today the network presents one focused destination, LifeSteal Teams, rather than a broad minigame hub.
The name has moved through several PvP formats. MurderRIP was advertised in October 2019 as an HCF network with Kits and Squads launches, then appeared in a 2020 sale listing with its domain, website setup, store system, and prior sales. By July 2022 it was being promoted as a new LifeSteal SMP, and the current server has narrowed that idea into team-based survival where hearts, claims, and raids decide how long a group can hold its ground.
Lifesteal is a Minecraft PvP survival mode where player kills and deaths change a player’s maximum health.
LifeSteal Teams is the current named destination, and kills change maximum health through the heart mechanic.
Factions is a Minecraft multiplayer mode where players join organized groups, build shared bases, and compete with rival groups for territory, resources, and strategic advantage.
Teams share territory, develop bases, manage team power, and compete with rival groups.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.
Inactive team land can become a raid target, making organized base assaults a major part of play.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Player combat drives heart gain and loss, base defense, team rivalry, and raids.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claimed team land, shield timers, and claim resets directly control base security.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather resources, craft gear, build bases, and survive in a shared world between PvP encounters.
A normal session starts with team planning, resource gathering, and base work. Players mine for gear, stock supplies, strengthen a shared claim, and decide when to leave safety to hunt another team or defend their own territory. A successful kill improves the winner's health while weakening the victim, so fights affect more than a scoreboard.
The pressure rises when a team goes quiet. After 48 hours of inactivity, its land can become a raid target, turning scouting and timing into part of the daily routine. Shield timers give bases protected windows, while active teams spend their time building defenses, watching borders, and preparing for the next push.
Progression is tied to both personal hearts and team strength. PvP kills change maximum health, making heart count a visible measure of power and a reason to avoid careless fights. Alongside that personal advantage, teams develop their claimed land, equipment, defenses, and team power over time.
The server does not present progression as a peaceful checklist. Better gear and a stronger base matter because they help a team survive raids, protect its heart advantage, and keep control of its territory.
The main custom systems are the Lifesteal heart mechanic, team power, land claims, claim resets, and shield timers. Hearts turn kills into maximum-health progression, while team systems decide how groups establish territory and protect it. These additions make ordinary survival resources matter because gear, food, and building materials all feed into the next fight or defense.
The current experience is organized around a shared survival setting with team-owned claims rather than a collection of separate minigame queues. Teams establish bases, secure territory, and expand their presence through claimed land. Claim resets affect how that territory is managed, while inactive claims can become vulnerable to raids.
PvP is the main source of pressure. Fights can happen around resources, borders, and bases, with every kill affecting maximum health and every death potentially costing a team part of its advantage. Team combat adds scouting, focus fire, retreats, and coordinated defense to ordinary Minecraft combat.
Raiding gives combat a larger objective than simply collecting kills. Shield timers create protected periods, while inactive teams can lose access to their land as a raid target after 48 hours. Players who dislike open combat or permanent risk will find little shelter from the server's central ruleset.
Season-of-the-world launch windows are part of the server's current rhythm. These starts put teams into an early race for resources, claims, gear, and the first heart advantages.
Teams are the main social unit. Players share bases and territory, divide gathering and combat roles, coordinate defenses, and decide together when to raid another group. The server's community structure is built around cooperation inside a team and rivalry between teams.
Team inactivity has a direct gameplay consequence. If a team is quiet for 48 hours, its land can become available for raiding. Shield timers and claim resets also determine when territory is protected or exposed, so teams need to stay active and track the conditions around their claims.
