Motimaa

Motimaa's Survival mode emphasizes long-term development rather than a fixed finish line. Players gather resources, establish themselves in the open world, and improve their equipment and surroundings over time, with custom survival content adding further reasons to keep progressing.

Motimaa's Survival mode includes custom materials, crafting components, weapons, and an in-game system for making special equipment. Motimiekka is one of the server's named custom weapons, built from Motimaa-specific materials and associated with enhanced combat power.

Survival takes place in an open world where players can start from random locations and shape their own bases, routes, and long-term builds. The world is intended to develop through continued player activity rather than being treated only as a short match arena.

Custom survival weapons give combat more variety than standard Minecraft equipment. The Survival wiki lists items such as Motimiekka, a powerful named weapon, alongside lighter novelty weapons used for combat and events.

The community organizes guided multiplayer sessions every Friday from 18:00 onward through Discord. These sessions can include Minecraft and other multiplayer games, giving regular players a recurring social event outside ordinary server progression.

Motimaa is presented as a Finnish community for players of all ages. Discord is the main place for community activities, support requests, and contact with the staff team.

The community emphasizes treating other people with consideration while playing and interacting in Discord. Moderation support and ban-history checks are handled through the Motimaa Discord and its associated tools.

Playing on Motimaa is free. The server is funded through voluntary VIP donations, with proceeds used mainly for operating costs and occasional new plugins or additions, and the operator describes the activity as nonprofit.
