About Medieval Vanilla
Medieval Vanilla keeps survival familiar while adding the tools that make a long-term SMP easier to live in. Players can protect builds with land claims, use homes and teleport commands, cut trees quickly, and trade through player-run shops and markets.
What Makes It Different
The server combines a relaxed medieval community style with practical survival systems. The world feels close to vanilla, but claims, player markets, resource worlds, mcMMO and quality-of-life commands remove much of the usual SMP friction.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
Vanilla gameplay is expanded with lightweight plugins and quality-of-life systems.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Chest shops and community markets support player trading.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Golden-shovel claims and detailed trust controls protect player builds.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server's primary mode is community survival.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The experience is built around a shared multiplayer survival world.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Player-run shops and markets are a major part of the server.
The main mode is semi-vanilla survival. Essentials-style commands provide homes, warps, teleport requests, random teleporting and other travel tools. Tree gravity and instant tree cutting speed up routine building and gathering without turning the server into a heavily modded experience.
Voting provides an earnable rank path from Peasant through higher medieval titles such as Knight, Noble, Hero and Overseer. Higher ranks add more homes, claim blocks, vote rewards, convenience commands and social features. mcMMO also gives regular play a skill-based progression layer.
The server adds mcMMO, custom recipes, tree-gravity behavior, instant tree cutting, silk-touch spawners, fishing and farming menus, mining tools, resource worlds and a range of portable utility commands.
The survival world uses custom terrain generation and a 25,000 by 25,000 block border. Separate resource worlds are available for the Overworld, Nether and End, helping preserve the main building world for long-term projects.
PvP can be toggled with /pvp. Land claims include trust controls, and claim or wither-explosion settings let players manage how protected areas behave. PvP also appears in server events and seasonal competitions.
Player-made chest shops and community markets form the server's main economy. Voting supplies crate keys and other rewards, while the store offers additional ranks, keys and cosmetic or command-based perks.
Weekly events and seasonal competitions include build contests, PvP activities and scavenger hunts. Giveaways and voting rewards add smaller incentives for regular community participation.
Medieval Vanilla is English-speaking and closely tied to Discord. Chat synchronization, alerts, voice channels, community warps, player markets and shared builds give the SMP a social focus beyond individual bases.
Players can use golden-shovel land claims, trust specific players, subdivide claims and control claim or wither explosions. PvP is optional through the server's PvP toggle. Hacking was prohibited in the server's early published rules.
The store sells permanent ranks, subscription ranks, cosmetics, commands and crate keys. Voting provides a separate in-game rank path, with rewards earned through server voting rather than direct payment.
