Zombie Siege strips survival down to a clear goal: stay alive as the zombie waves keep coming. It is a PvE server with several maps, custom plugins, and a game-like structure instead of a standard open-world SMP.
What Makes It Different
The zombies are not just a danger in the background. They are the entire game, with maps, rewards, ranks, vaults, and gear systems built around surviving the next wave.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
Surviving zombie waves is the central activity.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is presented as a survival-focused experience built around staying alive against hostile mobs.
Choose from multiple maps and fight through repeating zombie waves. Custom plugins shape the mode, while vaults and item repair help keep useful equipment ready for another attempt.

History of Zombie Siege
Zombie Siege was running by December 2023 as a Java server centered on a custom wave-survival mode. Its early premise was already distinct from ordinary survival: kill zombies, survive the waves, and use custom item drops and badges to make each attempt matter.
By 2024, the server was still focused on a custom survival experience with PvE at its center. The project had a strong replay angle rather than relying only on long-term building or a traditional SMP world.
By 2026, Zombie Siege had developed into a fuller wave-survival package with multiple maps, personal vaults, progression ranks, shops, item repair, and additional custom content. These systems give players more to manage between fights and more ways to keep improving.
Today, the server remains built around surviving repeated zombie attacks rather than faction warfare or a broad town-building economy. Its defining shape is a Java PvE challenge with custom progression layered over wave combat.
