About MapleWood
Last updated
MapleWood feels like a farming game built into Minecraft. You plant lettuce in spring and corn in autumn, sell bugs to the Bugologist, fish with lures and a reel minigame, and mine sixteen custom gems that refine into armor sets. Jobs come as contracts from companies that pay out money, claim blocks or XP.
Your home lives in a build world that does not reset, protected by a golden shovel claim, while separate resource worlds refresh for mining. It is a Java server with English chat, and the rules keep everything family friendly.
What Makes It Different
Crops follow in-game seasons and each skill, from farming to fossil hunting, has its own levels, tools and catalogue, so survival plays out like a slow life sim.
Cash from contracts and selling crops, fish and bugs, plus Ambers and an auction house.
Survival in a build world that does not reset, with farming, fishing and mining hobbies.
You pick a hobby and level it: farming with planter pots, watering cans and sprinklers, fishing with rods and lures, bug catching with a net, or mining custom ores. Contracts from companies give you goals that refresh every six hours.
Each activity has levels that unlock better tools, like iridium watering cans, greenhouse glass for off-season crops and fossil licences that cut cracking costs. Company reputation unlocks new contract givers.
There is a build world for homes and claims, and resource worlds that reset for mining. Fossils hide underground in the resource world, and a Mutant Zombie skeleton can be rebuilt to summon a boss.
You earn cash from contracts, selling crops, fish, bugs and fossils, and trading with players through the auction house and chest shops. A second currency, Ambers, comes from voting and chat games and is spent in the Amber shop.
Events like Spleef, Prop Hunt, Ink Wars, Capture the Flag and Floor is Lava run on a separate events server, and 4 Corners is played at spawn. An arcade with games like Snake opened at spawn in March 2026.
PvP is only allowed in set areas. Builds and chat must stay family friendly, griefing claimed builds is banned, and one alt account may be online only for AFK use.
The store sells ranks and crate keys. Store packages can also give Ambers, and cosmetics such as hats, backpacks and balloons do not change gameplay.
Rods, single-use lures and a Fish Finder change what bites, and a Fish Codex keeps track of every species you catch.
Mystery books from the Enchanter run from Simple to Fabled and are applied by drag and drop, with five custom slots per item.
Claim land with a golden shovel, starting with 5,000 claim blocks and earning 50 more for every hour you play.
Sixteen gems like Moonstone, Amber and Charoite refine into ingots and make armor sets with bonuses for mining, farming, fishing or combat.
Companies post contracts that refresh every six hours, paying money, claim blocks or XP and building your reputation.
Stylist Sarah sells hats, backpacks, balloons and dyeable outfits, and invisible armor hides your gear while keeping its protection.
You can tame up to five custom companions, from baby red pandas, capybaras and koalas to nine dog breeds and eleven cat breeds.
Separate resource worlds reset for mining and fossil hunting, so the build world with your home stays untouched.
Crops grow by in-game season in planter pots, with watering cans, sprinklers, fertilizers and greenhouse glass to unlock.
