About LifeSteal SMP
LifeSteal SMP turns survival into a fight for health. Gather resources, build a base, form a clan, trade with other players, and choose when to risk a battle. Killing another player steals part of their heart total, making every fight matter.
What Makes It Different
Most survival servers protect your progress from other players. Here, your health is part of that progress. A successful fight can make you stronger, while one bad ambush can leave you much weaker.
Lifesteal is a Minecraft PvP survival mode where player kills and deaths change a player’s maximum health.
Player kills transfer hearts between participants, making health-based PvP the server's defining system.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.
Players are explicitly allowed to attack and raid other players' bases for their valuables.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Player combat is allowed and directly changes combatants' heart totals.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather resources, craft, build bases, explore, and survive in a shared Minecraft world.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server centers on ongoing multiplayer survival, shared geography, alliances, trading, and player-built bases.
Begin with normal survival tasks such as gathering, crafting, building, and exploring. Clans and alliances help players work together, while trading gives players another way to obtain useful items. A leaderboard adds a competitive goal beyond simply surviving.
Players normally begin with 10 hearts. A player kill adds 0.5 heart to the winner and removes 0.5 heart from the defeated player. The total can rise to 20 hearts, and it does not fall below 10 hearts through player kills.
The main custom system is the heart-stealing mechanic. Clans, leaderboards, weekend activities, giveaways, and the credit shop support the core survival experience without turning it into a large modpack.
The server uses a shared survival world where players build bases, form alliances, and compete for control and reputation. World size, reset timing, and land-claim protection are not clearly established.
PvP is allowed, and killing another player changes both players' heart totals. Players can also raid other bases, so valuable gear and hidden storage need protection through planning and teamwork.
Players can trade with one another. The official store sells Credits, which can be spent through /creditshop on ranks and crate keys or traded for items.
Weekend events offer in-game prizes without putting players' earned items at risk. Community giveaways have included ranks and Discord Nitro.
The community is organized around clans, alliances, trading, PvP rivalries, and an official Discord. English is the clearly supported community language, with channels for news, events, tickets, and general chat.
A purchased Minecraft account is required, and cracked clients are not supported. PvP and base raiding are allowed.
The official store sells Credits for use in /creditshop. Credits can also be traded for items. Store purchases are separate from the Minecraft account required to join.
A heart progression system changes maximum health through player combat, making kills, deaths, and survival affect long-term power.
Each player normally starts with 10 hearts; killing another player transfers 0.5 heart, with totals capped at 20 and protected from falling below 10.
Player trading lets participants exchange resources, crafted goods, or equipment directly or through an organized economy.
Players trade useful items with one another, providing an alternative to gathering everything personally through survival activities.
A ranked display that compares players according to a tracked competitive statistic or achievement.
A leaderboard gives players a competitive goal beyond survival by publicly comparing their performance or standing.

History of LifeSteal SMP
LifeSteal SMP emerged in September 2021. Its associated Discord community was created on September 25, followed by the publication of the exact server listing on September 28. From this early stage, the server was identified with the lifestealsmp.com network domain.
Its initial identity was built around a simple survival mechanic: PvP could cause players to gain or lose health. This heart-based system gave ordinary survival a competitive edge and shaped how players approached combat and risk.
As its public identity developed, LifeSteal SMP became associated with semi-vanilla survival. Player alliances, base raids, and struggles over the heart system formed the central rhythm of play.
The network later supported both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. Bedrock players could connect through NetherLink, extending access beyond a single edition while preserving the server's shared survival setting.
Weekend events added a recurring competitive and community-focused layer. These events offered in-game prizes, while giveaways could include ranks and Discord Nitro.
Today, LifeSteal SMP retains its core identity as a semi-vanilla survival network centered on health-stealing PvP. Its community structure, cross-edition access, events, alliances, and raids all continue to sit alongside the original heart-based survival concept.
