Impeerium is a Java survival server built around factions. You work with a team, build up resources, and compete in a world where rival groups can threaten your progress.
The feature set stays focused on survival, economy, PvP and raiding, with a medieval theme and a vanilla-leaning style. Its August 2026 early-access phase gives the server a fresh-season feel without moving away from faction gameplay.
What Makes It Different
The main difference is the tight mix of vanilla-style survival and faction conflict. Your team's progress matters because bases, gear and resources can become targets in PvP and raids.
Factions is a Minecraft multiplayer mode where players join organized groups, build shared bases, and compete with rival groups for territory, resources, and strategic advantage.
Faction gameplay is the clearest defining mode and appears consistently across exact-server profiles.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.

History of Impeerium
Impeerium was already operating by December 2022 as an Estonian Java server with a survival and faction focus.
The project developed around a medieval-flavored survival setting rather than a large network of unrelated minigames. Team play and survival remained the central parts of the experience.
By 2026, economy, PvP and raiding had become part of the server's main gameplay mix. The vanilla tag kept the overall direction closer to enhanced survival than heavily modded Minecraft.
Around August 21, 2026, Impeerium entered a new early-access phase under the play.impeerium.net address. The opening was promoted alongside version 26.2 and a renewed focus on faction competition.
Today, Impeerium is a focused faction-survival server for players who want cooperative building, contested resources, player combat and a competitive economy.
