i-Reforged turns Minecraft survival into a Pixelmon journey through custom regions and towns. Players explore, build, catch and train Pixelmon, trade with other trainers, take on gym challenges and develop their teams through a long-form multiplayer world rather than a short match-based mode.
What Makes It Different
The server combines a custom regional map with a structured gym journey. Each of its eight gyms has its own town, while routes and travel paths connect the wider adventure instead of leaving progression as an entirely self-directed survival grind.

Pixelmon is the center of play. Players catch, train, breed, trade and battle Pokémon-like creatures while also building, exploring and surviving in the Minecraft world. The server supports battles against other players, raid battles, Pixelmon auctions, GTS-style trading and WonderTrade-style exchanges.
Progression follows a trainer-focused path through custom regions, towns and routes. Players improve their Pixelmon teams, prepare for eight gym challenges and work toward higher league-style encounters, while survival building, breeding and equipment development continue alongside the trainer journey.
Custom crafts, regional towns, gym locations, travel routes, updated claiming and breeding systems, and Pixelmon-specific progression are central additions. The official server pack also includes Pixelmon Reforged alongside JourneyMap or Xaero's Minimap and Just Enough Items support, depending on the published pack version.
The survival world uses custom regions and towns with purpose-built routes between areas. Land claiming protects player builds, while the mix of towns, gyms and natural Minecraft progression gives exploration a clear destination.
PvP centers on Pixelmon battles between trainers, with organized showdowns and gym-style competition adding structure beyond ordinary survival combat. Team building, matchup knowledge and preparation matter more than standard Minecraft melee alone.
Trading is a major part of the server economy. Players can exchange Pixelmon and items through GTS-style systems, auctions, WonderTrade and player shops, giving breeders, collectors and builders different ways to turn their progress into useful resources.
Community events are promoted through the network's Discord and website. The community has run seasonal activities, including a 2025 Easter event.
The community uses Discord and the i-Network forums for announcements, help, trading and team formation. Players can also apply for community roles such as moderator or gym leader, giving the server a more organized social structure than a purely anonymous survival server.
The official store sells server ranks and rank upgrades, packaged and individual Pixelmon, shiny and Paradox Pixelmon, items, custom Pixelmon orders and miscellaneous perks. Purchases are focused on ranks, creatures, items and convenience rather than being limited to cosmetics.
Players use a GTS-style system to exchange Pixelmon and items, giving breeders and collectors a direct trading channel.

History of i-Reforged
The wider i-Network community dates its Minecraft hosting to December 2012. Pixelmon-focused material was in place by 2023, with installation guidance, Discord support and a player-built trainer community.
On May 3, 2024, the network launched I-Pixelmon 1.20 with custom crafts, regions and towns, eight gym towns, travel routes, updated claims and breeding, and Generation 9 content. That launch marked a substantial modern phase for the Pixelmon server.
