About HiberMC
HiberMC is a survival SMP with a sharper edge than peaceful town servers. Players build up through an economy, then risk their gear in fights and raids where valuable loot can change hands quickly.
Custom tools, lucky blocks, skills, custom enchants, crates, kits and an auction house add extra ways to make money and improve a character. Java and Bedrock players are supported, with modern 1.20+ access advertised.
What Makes It Different
HiberMC mixes a plugin-heavy economy with real survival pressure. Custom tools and lucky blocks help players grow, but base raids and PvP give that progress something to lose.
Base raiding is directly advertised as a central activity, creating meaningful risk around stored gear and valuables.
Custom tools, custom enchants, and lucky blocks add server-created equipment and item mechanics beyond standard survival.
The server is presented as a shared multiplayer survival world where players develop bases, wealth, and rivalries together.
Survival is the central mode, with players gathering resources, building bases, improving gear, and managing hostile-world risks.
Player combat is explicitly central, with fights for loot and competition forming a major part of progression.
Money-making and spending are core activities supported by shops, crates, kits, auctions, farming, selling, and wealth competition.
The main mode is survival with an economy layered over it. Shops, crates, kits and an auction house give players several ways to move items and money. Custom tools, skills and enchants add extra progression beyond normal vanilla gear.
Progression comes from building wealth, improving through custom systems and competing on leaderboards. Skills, enchants, custom tools and kits give long-term goals beyond simply reaching diamond or netherite gear.
Custom tools, lucky blocks, custom enchants and skills are the main custom systems. They change how players earn money, improve gear and approach survival tasks without requiring a client-side modpack.
The server has used a realistic survival map and a dedicated web-map system. The world is designed for ordinary survival building as well as contested bases and player activity.
PvP is a central part of the server. Players are encouraged to fight for loot, and base raiding adds a serious risk to storing valuable items. It is a poor fit for players who want a strictly peaceful SMP.
The economy includes server shops, an auction house, crates and kits. Farming and selling resources can support progression, while leaderboard competition gives wealthy players another target.
The server has a Polish-facing community presence and has used Discord as a social hub. Its gameplay suits players who enjoy forming temporary alliances as much as competing with rivals.
An official web store is available for server purchases. The core server remains joinable through the normal Minecraft connection address.
HiberMC advertises an auction house alongside shops, allowing its economy to support player listings and item purchases.
HiberMC advertises custom enchants as part of its progression layer, giving players additional ways to improve gear beyond standard enchantments.
HiberMC uses lucky blocks as a custom survival feature that can provide uncertain outcomes while players pursue wealth and stronger equipment.
HiberMC includes skills as a long-term character progression system alongside custom tools, enchants, kits, and economy advancement.
HiberMC uses leaderboards as an additional competitive target, particularly for players building wealth and improving their standing.
History of HiberMC
HiberMC was publicly operating by July 2024. Its early presentation focused on enhanced survival rather than a collection of separate minigames.
During 2024, the server was built around a realistic survival map with a web map and a large plugin layer. Crates, shops, custom enchants, skills, an auction house and kits gave the world a clear economy-driven progression path.
The server's public gameplay pitch centered on fighting other players, raiding bases and climbing leaderboards. That combination pushed HiberMC away from purely cooperative survival and toward a risk-and-reward SMP.
The play.hibermc.eu endpoint later appeared under the RootSMP name for a Season 2 called The Border. The same endpoint remained tied to the HiberMC network, making RootSMP a later network era or rebrand rather than an unrelated server.
HiberMC now presents itself as a modern Java-and-Bedrock survival server. Its defining mix remains custom progression, player-driven wealth and PvP danger in a shared survival world.
