About Harmony
Harmony is a Java Cobblemon survival server built around collecting, training, and battling Pokémon while living in a shared Minecraft world. The Generations setup adds the full 1–9 Pokédex, Mega Evolutions, legendary encounters, custom models, breeding, Fakemon bosses, and Pokémon-themed gear.
Outside battles, players build towns with protected claims, explore expanded biomes and structures, trade Pokémon and items, complete quests, and tackle activities such as the Gauntlet, PokeBingo, gyms, and raids. Forge and Fabric players have separate ways to join, while important network features stay connected.
What Makes It Different
Harmony mixes a serious Pokémon collection game with a protected Towny survival world. You can spend one session hunting a rare Pokémon, then use the same world to build a town, trade with players, or prepare for gym battles.
Its battle side goes beyond random encounters. Gyms, badges, team preview, rematches, tournaments, Mega Evolution, Terastallization, and Fakemon bosses give trained teams somewhere to matter.
Cobblemon is a modded Minecraft experience where players find, catch, train, and battle Pokémon-like creatures while exploring the world.
The current server is built around Cobblemon Generations.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Towny claims, towns, plots, nations, and permissions are central to the multiplayer experience.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players build, explore, gather, trade, and develop towns in a persistent survival world.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
The server has money, Market Coupons, auctions, player shops, farming, mining, and trading.
Install a Cobblemon modpack, choose Forge or Fabric, and start building a collection. Pokémon can be caught, bred, trained, traded, and used in battles.
The Minecraft side includes Towny settlements, expanded biomes, custom structures, quests, McMMO skills, PokeHunts, PokeBingo, the Gauntlet, raids, and a separate resource world for gathering.
Progression has several tracks instead of one fixed rank ladder. Complete roughly 500 one-time quests, build McMMO skills, earn money, collect Market Coupons, improve your Pokémon, and work through gym badges.
The Battle Pass, daily rewards, PokeHunts, tournaments, and Gauntlet runs add extra goals. Breeding and EV Training give competitive players long-term reasons to refine their teams.
The Generations content includes all 1,025 Pokémon from Generations 1 through 9, game-like models, Mega Evolutions, Terastallization, legendary summoning, held items, breeding systems, PokeLoots, and Pokémon-themed music.
Harmony also adds more than 50 Fakemon bosses, over 50 custom enchantments, Stardew-style crop quality, seasonal Market items, Scrolls, Tree Feller, EV Training, and a large set of custom blocks, tools, and rewards.
The main world uses expanded terrain and exploration content from Terralith, Biomes O' Plenty, Biomes We've Gone, Incendium, Nullscape, and other world-generation additions. More than 100 structures provide places to search and loot.
The /rsw resource world is intended for gathering and exploration rather than permanent construction. It resets on a recurring cycle, giving players fresh terrain and refreshed loot.
The main competitive focus is Pokémon battling. Player Gyms let trainers challenge gym leaders for badges, while tournaments use structured formats and battle rules. Gym battles include team preview, rematches, and rewards such as badges, keys, Rare Candies, Battle Points, and special Pokémon.
Survival claims protect towns, so Harmony is not built around unrestricted base raiding. Its competitive pressure comes mainly from team building, gym progression, tournaments, and boss encounters.
Harmony uses a money economy for normal server trading and a separate Market Coupon system for seasonal blocks, items, and cosmetics. Farming and mining were reworked so both activities can provide a comparable way to earn money.
Players can trade Pokémon and items through the auction house, use player shops, and earn Market Coupons from quests, the Battle Pass, giveaways, PokeBingo, PokeHunts, and special activities.
Recurring activities include Wednesday Giveaways, Pokémon tournaments, player gym battles, PokeHunts, PokeBingo, Chat Trivia, Gauntlet runs, and seasonal Battle Pass content. Larger tournament formats can require players to earn all eight gym badges first.
Towny gives players a natural way to form towns, share plots, manage permissions, and join optional nations. Town chat and nation chat support smaller groups without separating them from global chat.
Forge and Fabric servers share important network features such as chat, ranks, kits, and the auction house. Discord provides setup help, announcements, and purchase support.
Griefing is not allowed, and Towny claims are used to protect homes, chests, and other builds. Players should not claim whole biomes or leave large areas empty without building plans.
Unused claims can be removed after periods of town or nation inactivity, with different time limits for empty claims, natural structures, and completed builds. Players should keep important construction in the main world rather than the resettable resource world.
The official store sells paid ranks, keys, and Pokémon-related items. Rank purchases are cumulative, so earlier rank spending can reduce the price of later ranks.
Legendaries and shiny Pokémon are not restricted to paying players. Free rewards are available through the Battle Pass, quests, voting, giveaways, tournaments, PokeBingo, PokeHunts, and the Gauntlet.

History of Harmony
Harmony began in 2016 as a Pixelmon server. Its early focus was a persistent Minecraft world where players could collect Pokémon, build bases, and play together over long stretches of time.
In 2017, the server moved to Pixelmon Generations. That change pushed Harmony toward a larger Pokémon roster and more game-like systems instead of a small collection of basic Pixelmon features.
The next major era arrived in December 2024 with the Harmony 1.0 relaunch as a Cobblemon Generations server. The relaunch followed the long-awaited update to the 1.20 generation of the Pokémon mod and brought the server back with both Forge and Fabric options.
Harmony 1.0 expanded the world with a full Pokédex, Mega Evolutions, legendary summoning, breeding, Fakemon bosses, more than 100 structures, new biome and dimension content, a monthly resource world, Towny, McMMO, custom enchantments, a market, an auction house, and seasonal rewards.
During 2025, the server put more weight on organized Pokémon battles. Player gyms opened, gym fights gained team preview and rematches, and the Victory Road tournament gave players a reason to collect all eight badges before competing in a larger championship-style event.
The server continued receiving gameplay and quality-of-life updates in 2026. Recent changes added better Pwarp descriptions, expanded Pwiki ability information, new EV Training warp handling, fixes for resource-pack connection problems, and repairs to daily reward and Battle Pass issues.
Today, Harmony combines a long-running Pixelmon history with a newer Cobblemon Generations foundation. Its world is shaped as much by towns, trading, exploration, and collection goals as by Pokémon battles.
