About MineFury
MineFury is a multi-mode network built around Pokémon-style collecting, island progression, and Prison grinding. Players can choose Pixelmon or Cobblemon adventures, build a Skyblock island, try OneBlock, or work through a Prison season.
The network mixes familiar Minecraft goals with extra systems. Pokémon worlds add teams, battles, and collecting. Skyblock adds island rankings and seasonal competition. Prison adds mines, upgrades, currencies, guilds, and dungeon-style content.
What Makes It Different
MineFury combines two very different kinds of progression. You can build a Pokémon team and explore modded worlds, or chase island rankings and Prison upgrades. The same network supports both relaxed collecting and competitive grinding.
Pixelmon brings Pokémon into Minecraft, letting players find, catch, train, evolve, and battle them across a block-based world.
Pixelmon is a major current branch featuring creature collecting, team development, exploration, and battles.
Prison servers turn mining into a gated progression ladder: players break blocks in designated mines, sell the resources, and spend their earnings on ranks that unlock more valuable areas.
Prison is a primary current mode centered on mining, selling materials, rankups, mines, and upgrades.
OneBlock is a Minecraft mode built around repeatedly mining one regenerating block to gather resources and advance through phases.
OneBlock is explicitly promoted as a current progression mode alongside Skyblock and Prison.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Skyblock is a headline mode with personal islands, resource development, teams, island value, and seasonal competition.
Cobblemon is a modded Minecraft experience where players find, catch, train, and battle Pokémon-like creatures while exploring the world.
Cobblemon has a dedicated current branch with modpack-supported collecting, training, exploration, and battles.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Multiple modes use currencies, selling, multipliers, shops, trading, island value, and cross-server rewards as core progression systems.
Join the network and choose a mode from the hub. Pixelmon and Cobblemon use dedicated modpacks and add creature collecting, team building, exploration, and battles. Skyblock starts with a small island and turns it into a larger production base. OneBlock uses a single changing block as its starting point. Prison focuses on mining, selling materials, upgrading tools, and unlocking stronger areas.
Skyblock progression is tied to island value, upgrades, resources, and /is top competition. Teams can compete together, while solo islands follow separate rules. Prison progression uses rankups, mines, sell multipliers, plots, player shops, kits, and increasingly powerful equipment. Pixelmon and Cobblemon progression comes from collecting, training, battling, and exploring.
Pixelmon and Cobblemon are supported through MineFury modpacks for CurseForge, Modrinth, and Technic. The network also adds custom Prison and Skyblock systems, seasonal content, guild features, special currencies, dungeon content, dragon-themed rewards, cosmetics, and server-specific progression tools.
The network uses separate worlds and mode spaces instead of one shared survival map. Skyblock provides personal islands, Prison provides mines and dungeon-style areas, and Pixelmon or Cobblemon provides modded exploration worlds. No dedicated public live map was established.
PvP exists in the Prison and event sides of the network, including competitive activities such as KOTH. Combat fairness is enforced through bans on autoclickers, unfair modifications, macros, and exploit abuse. The exact PvP rules can differ between modes.
Different modes use different economies. Skyblock uses Skycoins and island value systems. Prison uses Gems, sell multipliers, shops, plots, and auction-style trading features. Fury Coins are a cross-server currency used for selected MineFury store content and can be earned through voting, daily rewards, events, and leveling.
MineFury runs voting rewards, daily login rewards, seasonal leaderboards, KOTH-style activities, and Pokémon Guild tournaments. Tournament formats can include restrictions such as Monotype or Not Fully Evolved team rules.
The network uses Discord for announcements, support tickets, and player help. Pixelmon Guilds and Skyblock teams give players structured ways to cooperate and compete. Prison also supports guild-style group progression.
Skyblock and Prison use tiered rules covering chat, harassment, advertising, scams, griefing, account sharing, excessive alternate accounts, autoclicking, macros, unfair modifications, botting, duping, and major exploits. Public chat is English-only, while private or mode-specific chats can be used for other languages. Skyblock teams can also lose leaderboard eligibility for boosting, exploit abuse, or rule violations.
The store sells ranks, rank upgrades, keys, cosmetics, kits, Lucky Blocks, Exotic Eggs, Incense, Gems, and Fury Coins. Ranks are permanent and remain linked to the Minecraft account after a mode reset, while some inventories, Pokémon, and mode items may reset. Unredeemed purchases can be considered for refunds within 14 days under the current support policy.
Prison rankups provide an ordered advancement path that unlocks stronger mines, equipment, areas, or progression opportunities.
MineFury Prison centers rank progression around mining and selling materials, with increasingly powerful equipment and access to stronger areas.
Pokémon tournaments are organized competitive events where trainers bring teams into scheduled battles against other participants.
MineFury runs Pixelmon Guild tournaments with formats including Monotype and Not Fully Evolved team restrictions.
Cross-server currency is a shared balance that remains usable across multiple connected Minecraft servers or worlds.
MineFury’s Fury Coins operate across the network and can come from voting, daily rewards, events, leveling, or purchases.
Competitive rankings compare players or teams using measurable island achievements, wealth, production, value, or progression.
MineFury Skyblock uses island value and /is top competition, with solo and team islands subject to leaderboard eligibility rules.
Player-organized groups that provide shared identity and cooperation for social activity, progression, competition, or resource goals.
MineFury supports Pixelmon Guilds, guild tournaments, and guild-style Prison progression, giving group play a recurring structure.
Seasonal resets periodically begin a new world cycle while giving players a defined period to develop the current world.
MineFury runs seasonal Skyblock and Prison progression; ranks remain linked to accounts, while some mode inventories and items may reset.
Economy modifiers that increase the currency earned when players sell eligible resources or items.
MineFury Prison uses sell multipliers alongside mining, Gems, and shops to increase returns from gathered materials.
Skyblock teams let multiple players share an island, coordinate development, and compete collectively against other islands.
MineFury allows team islands alongside separate solo rules, with team cooperation contributing to seasonal Skyblock competition.
Dungeon content places players in structured combat-oriented areas with encounters, rewards, hazards, or objectives beyond ordinary overworld activity.
MineFury Prison includes RPG-style dungeon areas as part of its expanded progression, alongside dragon-themed content and stronger equipment.
KOTH events are competitive area-control activities where players contest a marked position or objective against other participants.
MineFury includes KOTH-style activities on its event and PvP side, with mode-specific restrictions applying to participation.
History of MineFury
GotPvP began in 2013 as a Minecraft network created by Saito and a friend. After the friend left, Saito became the sole owner. The network grew quickly and reached roughly 3,000 players during 2014.
Its early identity centered on Factions and PvP. Players could form factions, raid bases, steal resources, and fight in a world with a limited border around spawn. MCMMO, voting rewards, TNT-based obsidian breaking, and anti-cheat tools added extra depth to the survival combat loop.
By the middle of the 2010s, GotPvP had expanded beyond its original Factions focus. The network added or promoted Skyblock, Prison, Creative, KitPvP, Survival, and several minigame-style experiences. It increasingly operated as a hub network rather than a single survival world.
Around 2018, ownership passed from Saito to a new operator. The original GotPvP brand remained associated with the network, its play.gotpvp.com address, and its Prison-focused infrastructure for several more years.
In 2021, GotPvP was still running a cross-server hub with a Prison revamp, queue ranks, a web store, and a BungeeCord-style network structure. The older network emphasized classic multiplayer modes while continuing to update Prison content.
By 2025, the active network had adopted MineFury branding and shifted its public focus toward Pixelmon, Cobblemon, Skyblock, OneBlock, and Prison. The older GotPvP domains continued to identify the same active service and remain useful connection aliases.
MineFury's current identity is a crossplay progression network. Its modern experience combines modded creature collecting with seasonal island and Prison systems, while retaining the long-running GotPvP connection history behind the network.
