FrequencyMC is built around KitPvP with soup healing and dozens of ability kits. Pick Echo to rewind five seconds, Vacuum to pull enemies into a black hole or Thor to call lightning, then earn coins from kills and chase your top killstreak. Every Friday all kits are free to try.
Between fights, players host events from a menu: Bed Wars, Paintball, Block Hunt, Infection, Sky Wars, Sumo and more. There is also a Survival world with land claims, a random teleport and a live web map. FrequencyMC runs on Java Edition.
What Makes It Different
KitPvP and a long list of player-hosted events share one server, so a quick soup fight can turn into a round of Paintball or Freeze Tag.

KitPvP is the main draw: soup heals you, each kit has its own ability and cooldown, and kills pay coins you spend on kits, repairs and refills. Events like Bed Wars, Speed Builders and King of the Hill can be started by players with the host menu.
You unlock kits with coins earned in fights. Your top killstreak is saved for each kit, and Wednesdays double the coins from kills.
The Survival world was moved to the 1.21 update in August 2024 and widened to 20,000 blocks across, with Trial Chambers in the new land. The live map shows the End only near the portal, so elytra hunts stay a real hunt.
Fights use soup or potions for healing, and kits range from Bastion walls to Webweaver webs and Bomberman charges. Kill boosting is against the rules, and bounties pay out on top of kill coins.
Players host events from a menu, including Battery Dash, Infection, Team Death Match, Block Hunt, Paintball, Freeze Tag, Bed Wars, Football, Sheep Quest and 1v1 to 3v3 Brackets.
Do not kill boost in KitPvP and do not grief claimed land in Survival. Names or skins seen as hateful or obscene can be banned until changed, and broken or outdated clients are not allowed.
Free to play. The store sells ranks, which cannot be transferred, and the Frequency rank earns survival claim blocks faster.
The Survival web map shows the Overworld and a small circle of the End around the portal.
The KitPvP leaderboard updates quickly and can be sorted by your own stats per kit.
In Survival a random teleport takes you into fresh land where new Trial Chambers can generate.
Bounties in KitPvP pay out on top of normal kill coins and assist rewards.
Your top killstreak for every kit is saved and show up on the leaderboard right away.
Lobby pets, mounts and other cosmetics were switched back on in the Halloween 2026 update.
Each KitPvP kit has its own power, like Echo rewinding five seconds or Vacuum pulling foes into a black hole.
You save your own loadout for each kit from its overview screen while standing at spawn.
Survival players earn claim blocks every 15 minutes online, and higher ranks earn them faster.

History of FrequencyMC
FrequencyMC has been running since at least early 2020, mixing soup KitPvP with a survival world.
In August 2024 the Survival world moved to the 1.21 update. The border grew from 15,000 to 20,000 blocks across so Trial Chambers could generate, the live map gained a careful view of the End, and claim blocks started to build up faster.
The Halloween update of October 2026 brought 11 new events from Battery Dash to Sheep Quest, six new maps, seven new kits such as Echo, Bastion and Bomberman, saved loadouts, Free Kit Friday and Coin Boost Wednesday.
