About ExtremeCraft

ExtremeCraft is a multi-mode Java network built around choice. Start with protected Survival, create a Towny settlement, grow a Skyblock island, or begin with one block in OneBlock. You can also jump into Factions, LifeSteal, Anarchy, Prison, Creative, BedWars and dedicated PvP.

What Makes It Different

ExtremeCraft feels like several different Minecraft servers joined together. You can switch from careful base building to faction warfare, island grinding, creative building or fast PvP without leaving the network.

ExtremeCraft Gameplay

Choose a mode from the hub and follow its own rules and goals. Survival and NeoSurvival focus on gathering, building, claims and long-term upgrades. Creative uses protected plots and WorldEdit. Cannoning provides a separate place to build and test TNT cannons.

History of ExtremeCraft

ExtremeCraft was operating under the extremecraft.net identity by 2015. By 2016, the network had adopted play.extremecraft.net as its server address. From its early years, it brought several styles of Minecraft play together, including survival, factions, prison, creative and minigames.

Around 2020, ExtremeCraft moved to a redesigned website and shifted more of its community communication toward Discord. The network continued upgrading while preserving its broad, multi-mode character.

A major competitive transition followed in 2021. During EULA-related rank changes, ExtremeCraft retired its older Factions and OpFactions structure and introduced Hardcore Factions without competitive pay-to-win perks. This marked a change in how its faction gameplay was organized and presented.

Between 2021 and 2022, several major modes moved toward newer Minecraft versions. Creative, RPG, OpSurvival and OpSkyblock received 1.17-era updates while retaining their own progression systems. The network continued developing separate identities for its survival, island and competitive modes rather than reducing them to one shared format.

Towny entered development during 2024 and later expanded with wars, Hall of Fame systems, economy changes and repeated seasonal resets. This added a more structured community-building path based on towns, nations, land claims and diplomacy alongside ExtremeCraft's established survival and faction play.

During 2025, ExtremeCraft closed its SlimeFun mode and introduced a global Coin system. PvP was refreshed with Boxing and Mace PvP, while Factions was reset and Skygrid continued its seasonal development. These changes kept the network's competitive side active while its wider mode lineup continued to evolve.

In 2026, ExtremeCraft opened OneBlock and reset Towny while continuing Survival and Factions seasons. Its current identity is that of a Java Edition network spanning survival, islands, PvP, building and competitive play, with modes ranging from NeoSurvival and Towny to OneBlock, Skyblock, Prison, Creative, BedWars and other specialized experiences.
