About Enderbyte09's Minecraft Server
Enderbyte09's Server is a small near-vanilla SMP built around shared survival rather than a huge network menu. The main world has towns, settlements, player-run shops, and a market. Public goods and services help new players get started without feeling permanently behind.
You can join an existing town or build independently. Administrative tools protect the world without turning survival into a plugin-heavy grind. A separate set of player-built parkour levels gives builders and movement fans something different to do.
What Makes It Different
The survival world is shaped by players. Towns, shops, shared services, and independent bases all matter, while the server stays close to vanilla. Its second major activity is community-built parkour instead of a long list of unrelated minigames.
Parkour is a Minecraft movement challenge built around crossing obstacle courses with precise running, sprinting, jumping, and landing.
A separate selection of player-built parkour levels is a core secondary activity.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server is explicitly near-vanilla and avoids a plugin-heavy survival format.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Players cooperate, form towns, build settlements, and maintain independent bases in a shared world.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The main server experience is a long-running survival world.
Most play happens in the main survival world. Players can join a town or settle alone, then trade through player-run shops and the shared market. Community projects and useful public goods are a bigger part of the experience than plugin menus.
Progress is mostly self-directed and close to vanilla. Town membership, building projects, shops, and access to shared goods give players goals without a rank ladder or loot-heavy grind. New players can use free goods and services while they establish themselves.
The main custom content is a collection of parkour levels built by players. The survival side stays intentionally close to vanilla, with administrative tools doing most of the behind-the-scenes work.
The main survival world contains cities, settlements, independent bases, and older areas dating back to the 1.20 era. Creative areas and a separate parkour setup are also part of the server's wider world structure.
Combat is secondary to cooperative survival. The server emphasizes peaceful play, anti-griefing, and anti-theft rather than faction warfare or PvP competition.
The economy is run by players through shops and a market. Goods and services are also made freely available in parts of the community, which helps newcomers get established.
A Backrooms-themed Halloween event took place in 2025. Community-built parkour and town projects provide ongoing activities beyond ordinary survival.
The community is small, collaborative, and family-friendly. Players are encouraged to join town groups, but independent living is welcome. Discord and a web ticket system provide ways to communicate and request help.
Anti-griefing and anti-theft are central rules. The server uses a support and reporting ticket system, and its trusted-player process expects consistently good conduct.
The server keeps survival near-vanilla and avoids pay-to-win advantages.

History of Enderbyte09's Minecraft Server
Enderbyte09's Server opened on October 17, 2020 as a vanilla survival server running Minecraft 1.16.3. The experiment changed almost immediately: on October 18, the world moved toward creative building, including a town hall near the new area at 1000,1000.
Early 2021 brought griefing, manual hosting, and a long quiet period. The server returned during the 1.18 snapshot era, when players tested new terrain and founded places such as Snowpine in the creative world. Another quiet stretch followed through much of 2022.
In January 2023, the server moved toward 24/7 operation on a Raspberry Pi 4B. Hardware limitations caused regular lag, so it moved again in October to a donated 2011 gaming laptop with more memory. A serious griefing incident earlier that year also pushed the server from vanilla software to Spigot.
The server became more organized during 2024. It gained a rebuilt parkour world, and its public server presence was formally approved on July 2. The survival side continued to focus on player cooperation, towns, settlements, and a self-run market.
In 2025, Bedrock access was added alongside the Java server as the network moved through the 1.21 era. That year also brought a difficult security period involving griefing, backup restorations, and stricter controls for new members.
Today, Enderbyte09's Server remains a small crossplay survival community with a persistent world, player-made parkour, player-run commerce, and protection aimed at stopping permanent grief and theft rather than adding a heavy progression system.
