About Enchanted Skies
Enchanted Skies was a fantasy survival MMORPG set in a custom world. Players could create kingdoms, use class abilities, complete quests, and fight bosses. They could also gather resources, build towns, form nations, and become stronger with custom recipes and rare loot.
The project first started as a SkyBlock and SkyWars network. It later became the Enchanted Kingdom SMP. Its old identity is no longer clearly linked to a live public network. Today, enchanted-skies.net redirects to Minewind, and the former Minecraft addresses are not confirmed to be Enchanted Skies.
What Makes It Different
Enchanted Skies mixed survival building with simple role-playing ideas. Your class changed how you played, while towns and nations let friends build a shared kingdom.
Bosses were more than ordinary Minecraft mobs. They had special attacks, minions, difficulty levels, and rare rewards.
Fantasy servers organize Minecraft play around a fictional world shaped by supernatural lore, unusual peoples or creatures, legendary places, and other elements beyond ordinary survival.
The custom Renadia setting, supernatural classes, themed enemies, and kingdom-focused world established a clear fantasy identity.
Bosses are unusually powerful Minecraft enemies that demand more preparation and deliberate combat than ordinary mobs.
Custom bosses had named rosters, special abilities, minions, difficulty levels, scaling behavior, and rare rewards.
An RPG server makes Minecraft revolve around developing a character through adventures, combat, and other challenges.
Classes, abilities, quests, lore, custom enemies, and equipment progression gave the server a substantial role-playing structure.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The documented central mode was a survival-based multiplayer world involving resource gathering, building, equipment, and exploration.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The later Enchanted Kingdom SMP organized persistent cooperative play around shared settlements, resources, and player communities.
Towny is a settlement system where players found towns, claim land, and control how residents use it.
Towny supplied towns, nations, claims, permissions, banks, taxes, upkeep, and local control systems.
PvE is Minecraft gameplay centered on surviving and overcoming enemies and hazards controlled by the game rather than by other players.
Players fought themed mobs and demanding custom bosses as major documented activities.
Quests are tracked Minecraft objectives that direct players to complete specific tasks or a connected sequence of tasks.
The fantasy world included tracked quests, NPC-driven activities, and MMORPG-style objectives.
Players gathered materials, built bases, joined towns, and worked with other players to create larger kingdoms. Towny commands allowed players to claim land, manage plots, set permissions, and form nations.
The world also supported quests, NPCs, custom recipes, class abilities, and boss encounters. Bosses could be summoned with Boss Eggs or appear naturally in the kingdom.
Progression came from choosing a class, improving equipment, completing quests, building up a town, and collecting rare boss loot. Stronger bosses required more preparation and rewarded better treasure.
The class system offered ten themed choices: Yeti, Fairy, Mermaid, Demon, Vampire, Angel, Goblin, Warlock, Dwarf, and Werewolf.
Custom content included ten player classes, class abilities, custom crafting recipes, NPCs, quests, cosmetics, themed bosses, Boss Eggs, special loot, and a custom fantasy map.
Bosses had different difficulty levels, unique abilities, minions, lore, and player-scaling behavior. Nearby players could make an encounter stronger by increasing its health and adding more minions.
The main fantasy setting was the custom kingdom of Renadia, also referred to through the Enchanted Kingdoms theme. The world was designed for towns, nations, exploration, quests, and boss encounters rather than only ordinary survival gathering.
PvP was part of the wider server design, but Towny gave towns control over settings such as PvP, explosions, fire, peaceful status, and outsider access. Combat risk therefore depended on the area and its town rules.
Players looking for fights could also encounter hostile players outside protected town areas. Land protection reduced the danger to established bases but did not make every part of the world safe.
The server used coins for town activities. Creating a town cost 250 coins, and towns paid daily upkeep based on their claimed chunks.
Town banks supported shared finances, taxes, plot management, and nation building. A town that failed to pay upkeep could fall into ruin and lose its claims.
Some bosses could appear naturally in the kingdom and trigger a server-wide announcement. Other encounters began when players used Boss Eggs.
The Ogroid Beastmaster was also introduced as a travelling raid-style event, with mounted attacks, debuffs, ranged pressure, and supporting hounds.
The server had a Discord community and encouraged players to form towns, nations, alliances, and shared kingdoms. Social play was closely tied to land ownership and political relationships between player groups.
A dedicated store subdomain was associated with the server for purchases. The current product list and perk details cannot be confirmed.
Town upkeep is a recurring financial obligation settlements must meet to remain viable and maintain their claimed infrastructure.
Towns paid recurring coin upkeep based on claimed chunks, and failure to pay could place a town in ruin and remove its claims.
Player classes provide distinct roles with different abilities, identities, or development paths that change how characters approach gameplay.
Players could choose among ten themed classes, including Yeti, Fairy, Mermaid, Demon, Vampire, Angel, Goblin, Warlock, Dwarf, and Werewolf.
Scaling bosses adjust aspects of an encounter, such as health or supporting enemies, in response to participating players or difficulty settings.
The server increased boss health and could add more minions when nearby players joined an encounter, with additional difficulty tiers.
Boss eggs are special items used to summon powerful custom boss encounters for players to challenge.
Players could begin boss encounters by using Boss Eggs, alongside bosses that could also appear naturally in the kingdom.
Town claims let organized settlements reserve land and control construction or interaction permissions within their territory.
Towny towns claimed chunks, managed plots, and controlled building, outsider access, PvP, explosions, and fire within settlement areas.
Travelling raid events are mobile or roaming hostile encounters that bring a large combat challenge to changing locations or public areas.
The Ogroid Beastmaster appeared as a travelling raid-style encounter using ranged attacks, debuffs, a mounted beast, and supporting hounds.
Class abilities are powers or effects tied to a chosen character class that create meaningfully different combat or gameplay approaches.
Chosen classes changed gameplay through custom abilities, making characters such as Warlocks, Angels, Vampires, or Dwarves mechanically distinct.
A progression system where organized settlements grow into larger political entities with shared identity, territory, and membership.
Players could combine towns into nations, form alliances, and develop larger shared kingdoms within the fantasy world.
Town banks are shared settlement finances used by members or leaders to manage communal costs, taxes, and other group expenses.
Town banks supported shared finances, taxes, town expenses, plot management, and the broader process of developing towns and nations.
Boss loot systems make powerful enemy encounters a major source of rare equipment, special items, or progression rewards beyond ordinary mob drops.
Defeated bosses rewarded rare loot, making preparation for stronger encounters part of the server’s equipment progression.
NPC questing uses non-player characters to present objectives, dialogue, or progression tasks within a structured Minecraft world.
Players encountered NPCs in the custom fantasy setting and followed quests as part of its MMORPG-style progression.
Server-added crafting recipes that create or modify available items beyond Minecraft’s standard recipe set.
The server included custom crafting recipes alongside class content, boss rewards, and other additions to standard survival progression.

History of Enchanted Skies
Enchanted Skies was running by 2017 as a fantasy-themed Minecraft project. Its early identity centered on sky-based play and a network of SkyBlock and SkyWars modes.
By 2020, the server promoted custom enchants, teleporters, bosses, temporary flight, prize rewards, and a special ore-farming system called phytomining. This era presented Enchanted Skies as a feature-heavy sky network rather than a simple vanilla survival server.
The project then developed a broader fantasy setting called the Enchanted Realm. Players could follow quests, meet NPCs, fight waves of themed mobs, and explore the custom kingdom of Renadia.
In 2021, the main experience became the Enchanted Kingdom SMP. The new direction added player classes, custom abilities, kingdom building, Towny towns and nations, custom recipes, and a larger MMORPG-style progression system. Java and Bedrock players were both welcomed during this era.
Boss content became a major part of the server's identity. The roster included enemies such as the Necromancer, Lich King, Ice Queen, Magma Lord, Rusted Titan, and Ogroid Beastmaster. Boss Eggs could summon encounters, while some bosses could appear naturally in the kingdoms.
In July 2021, the Ogroid Beastmaster introduced a travelling raid-style encounter. It used ranged attacks, debuffs, a mounted beast, and supporting hounds, giving groups a dangerous public event to overcome.
The Enchanted Skies project retained its fantasy SMP, Towny, custom boss, and class-based identity in its later documented era. Today, the original web domain redirects to Minewind, so the former Enchanted Skies network should be treated as a historical server identity rather than a confirmed current network.
