About Dorfmine

On Dorfmine you pick a free spot in Aldea, place a chest, and that ground is yours. Aldea is the build world: it is not reset, and monsters are off by default. When you need stone, ore or wood, a portal takes you to Miral, the farm world, which is reset now and then.
The server is German-speaking, free, ad-free and non-commercial. Emeralds are the money: you earn them from villagers, fishing and events, then trade at player shops in the market town. It runs on Java Edition.
What Makes It Different
Dorfmine has been a non-commercial village community since 2013, where donations never buy in-game advantages and players protect their own land with a single chest.

New players read the guide and rules, then answer a few questions at the temple near spawn to unlock full access. Click the ground with a stick to see who owns it, and use a golden shovel to make your zone bigger.
Aldea and its Nether and End are build worlds that stay. Miral is the farm world; Miral 17 opened with the 26.3 update in October 2026.
Emeralds are the server money, kept in a wallet so you do not have to carry them. You can buy a market plot, place villager traders and set your own prices.
The team runs story events, like the 2026 Halloween witch labyrinth in Aldea, plus Christmas events, escape rooms and a birthday party every August.
Griefing is banned and you may only kill another player with their clear consent. Keep about 256 blocks from neighbors and farm in Miral, not in Aldea. Chat should stay family-friendly before 22:00.
Free to play with no store. Donations only pay server costs and give no in-game advantages.
The /fish system adds more than 70 extra fish species, which arrived with the 2026 birthday airship.
A 3D BlueMap shows Aldea and, since October 2026, where players are.
You can rent a stall in the market town, place villager traders and set your own emerald prices.
Placing a chest creates your own zone, and a golden shovel lets you make it bigger without asking staff.
Each daily vote pays emeralds, and 80 votes in a month earn the Dorfwacht rank with no teleport cooldown.
The server is non-commercial, and donations only pay the bills with no in-game advantage.
Staff write story events with quests, like the witch labyrinth at Halloween and Christmas villager tasks.
Miral is a separate farm world for mining and gathering, reset from time to time and now on Miral 17.
Aldea, the main build world, is not reset, and when a new build world opened in 2023 players could take their builds along.
A gravestone appears where you die, so your items wait for you to come back.

History of Dorfmine
Dorfmine came back on 30 August 2013, rebuilt from scratch on Minecraft 1.6.2, and has called itself a village community ever since.
Christmas grew into a tradition early: in December 2014 the Christmas villager won a battle of more than 14 hours, and in late 2016 players fed a gift machine through weekly tasks. In 2019 the server moved to 1.13 after six months of work, and the team opened applications for the first time in years.
In February 2023 a new build world opened with 1.19.3, and players could bring their builds along. In August 2026 Dorfmine turned 13 with an airship party and a fishing contest, and in October it moved to 26.3 with the farm world Miral 17.
