About DarkSteal
DarkSteal turns survival into a fight over hearts. Players explore a custom-terrain SMP world, build up their position, and take part in PvP where combat can change their heart-based progress. Season 2 is currently live.
What Makes It Different
DarkSteal combines a seasonal SMP world with custom terrain and a defined heart economy tied directly to PvP. Its 20-heart cap and 20-heart revive beacons give survival fights consequences beyond ordinary equipment loss.

Heart-based PvP progression is the server's defining mechanic, with combat affecting player heart totals.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.

Players gather resources, build up their position, and survive in a shared custom-terrain world.
The server is built around Lifesteal survival. Players gather resources, establish themselves in the world, and compete with other players through heart-based PvP progression. Additional plugins extend the experience beyond basic vanilla survival.
Players can progress up to a reported maximum of 20 hearts. Revive beacons are part of the server's recovery system and are described as costing 20 hearts, making heart management an important part of long-term survival.
Custom terrain generation, additional plugins, a 20-heart cap, and revive beacons are the main confirmed additions beyond ordinary survival gameplay.
Season 2 is currently active. The world is advertised with custom terrain generation, giving the survival map a more distinct layout than a standard terrain setup.
PvP is central to DarkSteal's Lifesteal identity. Fighting other players can affect heart totals, so combat has a direct progression consequence rather than being only an optional side activity. Specific raiding, griefing, combat-logging, and safe-zone rules are not included here.
DarkSteal currently has a relatively small but persistent player base. Recent monitoring recorded an average of about 7 players and a peak of 18, with 16 players online at the latest observation.
Joining is advertised as free.
A progression economy where health hearts function as a scarce resource that can be gained, lost, managed, or spent.

DarkSteal describes revive beacons as part of its recovery system, with promotional material reporting a cost of 20 hearts.
A limit on how many health hearts a player can accumulate through a server's heart-based progression system.
DarkSteal is reported to cap players at a maximum of 20 hearts, making additional heart gains subject to a defined ceiling.
Custom terrain reshapes the world with server-designed landscapes that provide distinct exploration and building environments.
DarkSteal's active Season 2 SMP world is advertised with custom terrain generation rather than a standard terrain setup.
