Cytooxien is a Java Edition network with several very different ways to play. You can build an island economy in Skyblock, compete in Minecraft Party, grow factories in Cactus Tycoon, race through huge parkour courses, or fight in quick PvP games.
Its strongest feature is variety with real depth. Minecraft Party mixes a board-game race with dozens of short challenges, while Skyblock turns farming, trading, automation, and island building into a long-term project. Newer games such as Random Item Battle and Duels add faster, more competitive sessions.
What Makes It Different
Cytooxien combines a serious long-term Skyblock economy with party games that feel closer to a board game than a normal Minecraft minigame. Its newer modes also use custom items, machines, and player-made kits instead of relying only on vanilla gear.
Parkour is a Minecraft movement challenge built around crossing obstacle courses with precise running, sprinting, jumping, and landing.
Only Up and multiple Minecraft Party games focus on timed obstacle courses.
Minigames are compact Minecraft games with their own rules, objective, and bounded play area, usually resolved in a single round.
Minecraft Party and several standalone games form a major part of the network.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Skyblock is one of Cytooxien's main long-term games.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Skyblock centers on Coins, Island Market orders, player trading, auctions, and automation.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.

The network is split into separate games rather than one shared survival world. Skyblock focuses on islands, farming, trading, machines, and upgrades. Minecraft Party places players on a board and sends them into short minigames after each dice roll. Cactus Tycoon mixes factory building with exploration and monster fights. Other choices include Random Item Battle, Smash, Only Up, Realms, and Duels.
Skyblock progression starts with a starter island, tutorial tasks, resource gathering, and Island Market orders. Market levels unlock better orders, storage, merchants, and new systems. Island levels expand building space and creature limits. Cactus Tycoon uses seasons, new worlds, machines, abilities, and resources. Minecraft Party progression during a round comes from dice, coins, placement, and minigame performance.
Cytooxien adds custom blocks, items, machines, menus, abilities, maps, and progression systems. Skyblock contains more than a thousand additional blocks and items. Cactus Tycoon uses factories, energy systems, machines, seasonal worlds, and special abilities. Random Item Battle includes items such as Rocket Boots, Explosive Arrows, Breeze Turbines, and Catapult Pistons. Duels includes a Kit Creator for building and saving personal loadouts.
Skyblock gives each player a starter island with a main island and nearby resource islands. Islands can be expanded, redesigned, opened to visitors, and shared with other players. Cactus Tycoon uses several themed adventure worlds, including the Cactus Desert, Radfield, and Rustwood. Minecraft Party uses rotating boards and hundreds of maps, while Only Up climbs roughly 2,000 blocks through branching parkour routes.
PvP appears in several focused games rather than as a rule for every part of the network. Random Item Battle gives players random weapons, blocks, gadgets, and creatures before a fight above the void. Smash is about knocking opponents from platforms. Duels lets players create custom kits, choose settings, and compete in small arenas. Minecraft Party also includes combat games such as Survival Games, Skywars, Duels, and Lucky Towers.
Skyblock uses Coins as its main currency. Players earn them by completing Island Market orders, trading with other players, selling through trade stations, using the Auction House, or visiting fixed-price village traders. Island banks support shared savings, while automated storage and hopper systems can keep market orders moving when the island is unloaded.
Seasonal events change the lobby and add temporary hunts, cosmetics, missions, and Skyblock rewards. The 2026 Summer Event included daily watermelon hunts, summer cosmetics, pirate treasures, seasonal crops, and a limited mission. Cytooxien also prepared a special 6v6 Minecraft Party edition for Gamescom 2026.
Discord is the main meeting place for players, support, updates, and account linking. Cytooxien provides German and English chat communities, and its Realms system lets players create or join community-run servers with their own worlds and plugins. Builders can also use a public creative server with WorldEdit, VoxelSniper, and Axiom.
Unfair modifications are prohibited. This includes autoclickers, x-ray tools, freecam, minimaps, printers, damage indicators, and other automation or advantage-giving software. World downloading, bug abuse, spawn trapping, unfair stat boosting, player traps, fraud, doxxing, harassment, spam, and advertising other servers are also prohibited. Players must act manually and use the protected /trade interface for safer exchanges.
Cytooxien sells Premium and Premium+ ranks, Rubies, treasure chest keys, mystery eggs, cosmetics, furniture, and other digital items. Premium ranks add commands and features across the network. Rubies can be used for cosmetic items and selected Skyblock conveniences. Purchases are processed through Tebex.

History of Cytooxien
Cytooxien began in 2011 with Citybuild, establishing the network's early focus on player-built worlds and community gameplay.
In 2012, the network added its first PvP server, which later became the foundation of Factions. Reallife followed in 2013 under the name Cytopia and became another major part of the early network.
Skyblock became one of Cytooxien's longest-running game modes. By 2025, it had been running for more than twelve years, preserving a large amount of player progress while receiving repeated mechanical and visual upgrades. Minecraft Party also grew into a signature mode built around short competitive games and a large map pool.
The network expanded beyond its German roots in 2022 by adding more languages and international support. This required new translation tools for menus, items, missions, and other game content.
In 2024, Cytooxien introduced a new website and moved more community communication toward Discord. The project also became a full-time company under CXN Studios, replacing its earlier hobby-scale operation with a dedicated studio structure.
Skyblock entered a new era on August 25, 2025. The redesign added the Island Market, automated storage, generators, player shops, spawner systems, expanded island management, and detailed permissions while preserving existing islands and player data. Random Item Battle launched shortly afterward as a standalone fight where players receive unpredictable items and battle above the void.
Late 2025 brought a major change in direction. Factions was retired, followed by the planned retirement of City SMP and Reallife. Cytooxien shifted its attention toward Skyblock, Minecraft Party, Cactus Tycoon, new minigames, and more flexible long-term systems.
During 2026, the network added a custom-kit Duels system, released Cactus Tycoon Season 4, expanded Random Item Battle with new movement tools and combat items, and increased Skyblock's Island Market to level 40. Seasonal events and a Gamescom edition of Minecraft Party now sit alongside the network's persistent games.
