Creeper's Lab is mostly about survival. You build and explore across five vanilla worlds, Laurasia, Rodinia, Gondwana, Cimmeria and Superia, with only a few handy extras added. Cimmeria and the minigames are open to everyone; register a free Interordi account to reach the other worlds.
Between builds there is a lot to do: a carnival island with a Ferris wheel and a llama merry-go-round, mazes, races and dozens of PvP arenas. A monthly challenge server rotates games like UHC. Java and Bedrock players share the same servers, and the rules keep chat friendly for all ages.
What Makes It Different
The team avoids map restarts so your builds last, and the server has been running since November 2011.
A minigames area with PvP, parkour and racing, open to everyone.
Five vanilla survival worlds are the heart of the server.
Survival is vanilla with small extras. Visitors can play Cimmeria and the minigames, and registered players reach the rest of the worlds. Long-standing players with good behavior earn the Trusted rank, which unlocks fire, lava and TNT.
PvP is only allowed in marked arenas, such as the Colosseum of Madness and Pig Jousting. The monthly challenge world may allow PvP, raiding and traps unless stated otherwise.
Events Nights run from Friday at 9pm to Sunday at 9pm Eastern time, with tournaments, races, spleef and chess. Regenerating challenge areas like the Halls of Nyx and Requiem open only on those nights. Science Fest returned for October 2026.
Griefing, stealing, cheating mods and player traps are banned on the survival worlds. Religion and politics are off-limits in chat. Breaking rules leads to a 3-day ban, then a month, then a permanent ban.
There is no store. Players can back the server on Patreon, which adds a star next to their name.

Regenerating dungeons like the Halls of Nyx and Requiem open on Events Nights with Elder Guardians, Shulkers and custom bosses.
Each daily vote earns a Merit Point, which you can spend on short flight, clear weather, an XP boost or vouchers for Moosemart.
Player profiles collect custom achievements with names like Head Hunter and Praised Be Thy Squid.
Events Nights run every weekend from Friday to Sunday evening, with tournaments, races, spleef and chess.
Dozens of arenas, from the Colosseum of Madness to Pig Jousting, are the only places PvP is allowed.
Building contests hand out Merit Points to the top builders, like the Science Fest contest in October 2026.
Griefing and taking items that are not marked free are banned on survival, and offenders are removed.

A challenge server runs a new game each month, often UHC, with Merit Points for goals like reaching the Nether.

History of Creeper's Lab
Creeper's Lab opened on 11 November 2011 as a website and a server running Beta 1.9 Pre-release 5, a week before Minecraft 1.0. It moved to 1.0.1 that December.
In July 2020 Bedrock players on Windows 10 and mobile joined for the first time, starting with the lobby, PvP and parkour. The tenth birthday in November 2021 brought a week of new things, then a move to stronger hardware in December.
In November 2022 an apocalypse event ended the old Cimmeria world and it was reset. The Science areas closed in 2024, then came back in small form as Science Fest each October from 2025. In September 2026 the network moved to Minecraft 26.3.
