Create-SMP is survival built around the Create mod. You start with a water wheel and a few shafts, and before long you are running conveyor lines, automated farms and trains between bases. Everyone plays the same modpack from CurseForge on Java, and you join the whitelist by applying through the server's Discord.
Season 2, which entered testing in September 2026, runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge. It brings a fresh 20,000 by 20,000 survival world, a mining dimension that resets, a Shopping District for player shops and a separate Sky Battles world for PvP. Claims keep your base safe, and griefing and theft are not allowed. The server is meant for players 16 and older.
What Makes It Different
Each season is a fresh map built for Create machines, with its own mining dimension for drills and a separate world just for shops.

A shared whitelisted world where players build and trade together.
A 20,000 by 20,000 survival world is the main place for bases.
You build bases and Create contraptions in the main survival world and gather ores in the mining dimension. New players get 32 bread once for the walk out of the 500 block spawn area.
Season 2 has a 20,000 by 20,000 survival world, a 5,000 by 5,000 mining world meant for resets, a Shopping District world, a lobby and a Sky Battles PvP world with its own inventory.
Players trade in the Shopping District, where staff hand out shop spaces.
No griefing, theft, duplication or lag machines, and you cannot use contraptions, vehicles or explosions to get past claims. Weapon items are blocked everywhere except Sky Battles.
Free to play. The paid Supporter rank (monthly) and Legend rank (one time) add extra claimed and chunk-loaded areas, shop spaces and homes, and the ranks page says perks are kept away from pay-to-win.
An online 3D map shows the survival world, so you can look at builds and rail lines from your browser.
FTB Chunks claims protect your base, and teammates add their claim allowances together.
Season 2 starts everyone on a new map with empty inventories, while ranks from Season 1 carry over.
You apply through a ticket on the Discord and link your accounts before you can join the world.
Create gears, belts, drills and trains power the farms and factories players build in the survival world.
A 5,000 by 5,000 mining dimension lets you send Create drills after ore without scarring the main world.
PvP and weapons live in the Sky Battles world, which keeps its own inventory apart from survival.
Season 2 has a whole world set aside for player shops, with spaces handed out by staff.

History of Create-SMP
Create-SMP opened its first season in late 2025 on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge. The map was split into districts, with a Shopping District for trade and an Industrial Zone for the big factories, and the Season 1 modpack kept getting updates up to version 1.7 in February 2026.
In September 2026 the team moved to Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge for Season 2. The Season 2 wiki went up on 17 September, and the first beta of the new pack followed on 21 September. The new season starts everyone on a fresh map with separate worlds for mining, shopping and PvP, while ranks from Season 1 carry over.
