What Makes It Different
CorbaCraft keeps the pressure of claiming, trading, and building without making player combat the default. Land protection, a diamond-centered economy, player shops, and optional PvP arenas give it more structure than plain vanilla while leaving ordinary survival progression recognizable.

Progression is self-directed. Improve tools and gear, expand your claims, gather valuable resources, and grow wealth through shops and trade. Time played and voting can increase claimblocks, giving established players more room to build without making ranks the main progression path.
Server-side additions stay close to vanilla. Claims, player shops, auction-house tools, voting rewards, ranks, and other quality-of-life plugins add structure without requiring a modpack or custom launcher.
The world is a broad survival setting with land claims protecting bases and room for towns, shops, and collaborative builds. The Nether and End do not receive the same claim protection as the overworld, so players need to treat construction in those dimensions more carefully.
The main survival world is non-PvP. Players cannot normally damage one another, while designated PvP arenas provide a separate place for combat.
Diamonds are presented as the server's central currency, with player shops and trade giving gathered items a social use beyond personal storage. The economy supports survival and commerce rather than replacing them.
Players are encouraged to trust friends into claims, form towns, use shops, and solve problems through Discord support. Community rules emphasize family-friendly chat, English in main chat, respect for other players, and staff tickets for problems or reports.
No griefing, hacked clients, exploits, duping, or harassment are allowed. Claims should remain 50 blocks from other claims unless permission is granted, and adjacent builds must not create problems for neighbors. Redstone clocks and mob grinders need ways to be switched off, while the Nether and End have weaker protection than the overworld.
The server describes its store as cosmetic-focused. The Corba+ rank helps fund the server, while core survival remains non-pay-to-win.

History of CorbaCraft
CorbaCraft began in 2012 as a server created by a group of friends who wanted their own Minecraft world. By 2013, it had a public survival listing, and its 2015 and 2016 descriptions emphasized no-grief survival, land protection, shops, player trade, ranks, events, and hub activities.
The server continued through multiple Minecraft version updates. A public update log records a move to version 1.15.2 in February 2020, followed by a renewed 1.20-era listing updated in June 2024. Current material presents CorbaCraft as a semi-vanilla PvE survival server with claims, player economy, designated PvP arenas, and cosmetic-focused funding.
