About ClownCraftSMP
ClownCraftSMP centers on a small, social survival world where players build homes and towns, explore custom terrain, and add server-specific progression to ordinary Minecraft. A separate creative world, locked chests, optional PvP, quests, cosmetics, and convenience commands keep the server approachable while custom fishing and other plugins give the survival loop extra variety.
What Makes It Different
ClownCraftSMP goes beyond a standard plugin-heavy SMP with custom activities that change what players can do in survival. Players can fish in lava in the Nether, befriend hostile mobs, chase a large advancement and trophy collection, and explore custom biomes and structures.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is primarily a shared multiplayer survival world centered on homes, towns, building, exploration, and community progression.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Gathering, crafting, building, exploration, hostile mobs, death recovery, and base development form the core experience.
The main survival world supports ordinary gathering, building, exploration, and settlement development alongside commands such as /rtp, /home, /sethome, and /warps. Death creates a temporary grave lasting 45 minutes, and /back can be used to return to a previous location once per hour.
Progress comes from building up a survival base, completing daily quests, earning ranks, collecting advancements and trophies, and improving access to server cosmetics. Player towns and a shopping district add longer-term goals beyond personal gear.
Custom enchantments, custom fishing, lava fishing in the Nether, hostile-mob befriending, cosmetics, trophies, and a large advancement collection are among the server's main additions. Some cosmetics are free, and additional content is delivered through server-made plugins rather than a required modpack.
ClownCraftSMP combines a main survival world with a separate creative world. Custom biomes and structures expand exploration beyond standard terrain, while player towns give the survival map a shared community character.
PvP is toggleable, so players can avoid unexpected fights while still choosing to participate in combat. The server's current identity leans more toward building, towns, exploration, and social play than constant competitive PvP.
The server uses a diamond-based economy with player-built towns and a shopping district. Trading and settlement development give builders ways to turn gathered resources into longer-term projects.
Fishing tournaments and other community events are part of the server's activity mix. Weekly events and seasonal cosmetics have also been used to give players reasons to return beyond routine survival progression.
ClownCraftSMP is built around a small, friendly community with players from different time zones. The server promotes player towns, community help, LGBTQ+ friendliness, and a welcoming atmosphere for creators and casual builders.
Locked chests protect personal storage, PvP can be toggled, and crops are protected from being ruined by jumping. The server also uses temporary death graves and a limited /back command to reduce the frustration of losing items or traveling back to a death location.
Ranks and cosmetics are part of the server's reward system, with many cosmetics advertised as free. Cosmetic collections and chat tags are more prominent than power-selling perks in the current public descriptions.
Death graves preserve a deceased player's dropped belongings in a recoverable location, reducing the risk of losing equipment after death.
Deaths create temporary graves that last 45 minutes, giving players a defined window to recover their items.
Custom fishing adds collectible species, specialized rewards, or activities that make fishing a distinct progression path.
Players can fish through custom systems, including lava fishing in the Nether, with fishing tournaments adding organized competition.
Toggleable PvP lets players enable or disable their participation in direct player combat according to server rules.
Players can toggle PvP, allowing peaceful survival and building while retaining the option to participate in combat.
Custom world generation changes terrain layout and environmental variety beyond Minecraft's standard world-generation rules.
Custom biomes and structures make exploration in the main survival world differ from ordinary Minecraft terrain.
Advancement Collection focuses on completing and collecting a broad set of tracked Minecraft achievements through varied objectives.
ClownCraftSMP promotes a large advancement collection, with approximately 1,200 advancements available for players to pursue.
Mob Befriending lets players form an ally-like relationship with creatures that would normally be ordinary or hostile Minecraft mobs.
The server advertises custom functionality for befriending mobs, including hostile mobs, as an unusual survival interaction.
Locked chests restrict access to stored items, allowing players to protect personal or shared storage from unauthorized interaction.
Locked chests protect personal storage in the survival world and help players secure resources and possessions.
Daily quests provide recurring tracked objectives that refresh regularly and reward players for completing specific activities.
Daily quests contribute to the server’s ongoing progression and give players repeatable objectives alongside ordinary survival play.
Custom enchantments add server-defined equipment effects or upgrade options beyond Minecraft's standard enchantment system.
Custom enchantments are part of the server’s survival additions, giving players equipment options beyond standard Minecraft enchantments.
Trophy Collection gives players collectible recognition items or records for completing accomplishments and noteworthy server activities.
Collectible trophies form a separate long-term goal alongside the server’s extensive advancement collection.
Optional visual or novelty additions that personalize a player's appearance, movement effects, equipment presentation, or social presence.
The server offers cosmetic collections and chat tags, with many cosmetics advertised as free and additional cosmetics tied to ranks.
