You wake at the Wish Spring, learn that bare fists do no damage, and head for the town of Imitia. From there you mix melee, ranged, magic and gathering skill trees with six elements, then team up with up to eight friends against dungeon bosses like the Thunder Wolf King.
文靜之潭 is a Java Edition RPG in Traditional Chinese, and no mods are needed. Between fights you mine, chop wood, sell to the player market and build on your own home island. Dying in the wild costs you nothing, and new events arrive every month.
What Makes It Different
Combat is fully custom: every attack is a skill, and you switch between seven skill sets and seven gear sets to build your own style with no class limits.
A full MMORPG with levels, stats, skill trees, story chapters and quests.
Party dungeons with bosses, an 11 floor solo tower and a solo roguelike run.
Gold from fights and gathering, a player market and island box shops.
Left click for light attacks, a right then left click for heavy attacks, and number keys for skills. You watch three bars: HP, MP for skills and EP for heavy attacks and dashes. Story chapters, quests and party dungeons drive most of your play.
Each level gives 2 stat points (STR, DEX, INT, SPI) and 1 skill point. Main skills branch into one of two paths with extra EX nodes, and gear can be reforged for new stats or upgraded up to +10 with crystals. A failed upgrade costs materials but never lowers your gear.
Hot air balloons link the main town Imitia, Pronisia and the port town Manimis. You travel through places like the Sacred Tree Forest, Mushroom Valley and the Black Blade stronghold, and you can use Teleport Crystals to jump between towns and safe zones.
Gold comes from monsters, quests, gathering and selling. The broker Gule runs a player market in Imitia, ore prices go up and down, and you can open a box shop on your home island for a 5% fee.
New events land about once a month. The Out of Control Alchemy Workshop runs in Moonbay City from October 15 to December 15, 2026, with town rescue missions and Moonstones to trade for costumes and titles.
Only mods that show you information are allowed; macros and bots get a 7 day freeze. You may play one character at a time, and abusing bugs can mean paying back up to three times what you gained.
Free to play. The shop sells Star Pond Crystals for New Taiwan dollars, used for a membership, costume boxes and event chests whose odds are posted on the site.
Four skill trees (melee, ranged, magic and gathering) with branching main skills, EX nodes and seven swappable skill sets.
The Skytree, an 11 floor solo tower with a boss on each floor, shows a top 5 board and gives first place its own title.

Pronisia Illusion is a solo roguelike style run where you mow through waves for Dream Coins and other rewards.
Create your own home island with /is, invite friends to build with you, and protect your map art.
Mining and woodcutting from level 10 give gold, potions, scrolls and building materials you cannot get anywhere else.
The reforger Bart rerolls your gear stats for gold, glyph scrolls steer the result, and crystals upgrade items up to +10.
Six elements (fire, ice, forest, thunder, holy and dark) where hitting a weak element deals 25% more damage.

History of 文靜之潭
2013 to 2020: The team counts the server as running since about 2013. By 2020 it ran on Minecraft 1.11.2, with players streaming its group RPG adventures.
Early 2026: After about a year of rebuilding, version 2.0 opened a closed Alpha test in March, then a public test from May 17 to June 17.
June 2026 onward: Version 2.0 launched for good on June 19, jumping straight to Minecraft 1.21, with no more wipes promised. Mining and woodcutting arrived in July, followed by a summer balloon trip to Pronisia, a Mid-Autumn barbecue and the Alchemy Workshop event in October.
