NorwegianAbout BFB Norway
BFB Norway began as a Norwegian survival and PvP server, but the live mc.bfbnorway.com endpoint now presents a BungeeCord hub for PlayerServers and free server hosting. The current destination is therefore more of a network gateway than a clearly defined standalone survival world, even though its older identity remains associated with survival, PvP, building, and shops.
What Makes It Different
Its most unusual trait is the gap between a documented 2012-era survival and PvP community and a live endpoint that now advertises free player-server hosting. Players looking for the historic BFB Norway experience should treat the old survival description as historical context rather than a complete description of the current hub.
The historic server centered on survival, PvP, building, shops, and protected player areas. The current hub banner points toward player-server hosting instead of naming a current standalone mode.
Earlier network material referenced KitPvP, TNTWars, Warzone, factions, and player-created servers. Those features belong to earlier network states and are not all confirmed as part of the current hub.
The older server used a survival world where players built homes and could request protection for areas such as houses, caves, and mountains. No current world layout or map is exposed.
The older BFB Norway server included PvP, while later network material referenced KitPvP and other combat-focused modes. The current endpoint does not expose a named PvP ruleset or active combat mode.
Historic descriptions mention shops as part of the survival experience. There is no current economy system or shop interface confirmed for the live hub.
The original server welcomed players beyond Norway, with English and Norwegian communication mentioned alongside invitations to Danish, Swedish, German, and other players. Its current public hub identity does not provide a comparable community guide.
The legacy rule set bans cheating, permission abuse, spam, advertising, racism, and asking for staff or operator status. It also calls for players to respect staff and other players.
The current mc.bfbnorway.com hub advertises PlayerServers and free server hosting rather than presenting a clearly defined standalone game world.
The historic server allowed players to request protection for areas including houses, caves, and mountains; current protection behavior is unconfirmed.

History of BFB Norway
BFB Norway was publicly documented on December 15, 2012 as a Norwegian survival and PvP server with building, shops, and player-requested protection.
By 2014, mc.bfbnorway.com was being discussed alongside the CubedCraft Network. Network material from that period referenced KitPvP, factions, TNTWars, Warzone, and free player-created servers, showing a move from one survival server toward a broader network setup.
Today, the same hostname answers as a live BungeeCord hub branded around PlayerServers and free server hosting. The address remains reachable, but its current hub identity is different from the old survival presentation.
