AuroraCraft keeps survival close to vanilla and lets your builds last. The main worlds are permanent, with no world resets and no economy wipes, so the base you start today is still there next year. When you need ores or wood, you head to the resource worlds, which reset over time.
You claim land to keep your builds safe, set up a shop, add a player warp so others can find it and trade with the server money. The motto is Semper amicus, semper aequus: always a friend, always fair. The server runs on Java 1.21.x.
What Makes It Different
The team promises no world resets, no economy wipes and no pay-to-win, so long builds and savings stay safe.
A slightly modified vanilla SMP with permanent main worlds.
A player-run economy with player shops and player warps.
Classic survival with claims, farms and resource worlds.
Survival with a few quality-of-life plugins. Build in the permanent main worlds, gather in resource worlds and join the community events and game modes the team runs.
Killing other players is only allowed in agreed PvP areas or situations. Spawn killing and teleport traps are banned.
A player-run economy with player shops and player warps. Trades must be honest, and games of chance and lootbox shops are not allowed.
No griefing, lag machines, chunk loaders, seed cracking, hacks or duping. Farms have limits, like one iron or raid farm per player, and slurs in chat bring a ban that cannot be appealed.
There is a store, and the team says the server is not pay-to-win. Voting for the server gives crate keys.
Shop owners set player warps so others can travel straight to their stalls and builds.
A web map of the world lets you look around and plan trips before you log in.
Prices are set by players, who sell from their own shops, and rules require every trade to be honest.
A claim system keeps your build safe, and others may not claim or build within 150 blocks of your claim without asking.
Fighting is only allowed in agreed PvP areas or when both players agree, so nobody gets ambushed at their base.
Each vote gives a Vote Crate Key, voting everywhere in one day adds a Galaxy Crate Key and sixteen votes earn a Season Crate Key.
The team states plainly that AuroraCraft is not pay-to-win, so nothing in the store beats time spent playing.
Resource worlds reset over time, so you mine and chop there and leave the permanent main worlds intact.

Aura and Sock started building AuroraCraft in February 2025.
Two months later, in April 2025, the server opened to the public, with permanent main worlds, a player-run economy and a promise of no resets that it still keeps.
