About Amethyst Community
Amethyst Community is a Sri Lankan Minecraft network built around survival with a strong RPG layer. Its main experience uses custom world generation, hard-mode survival, custom weapons and equipment, and dungeon bosses rather than sticking to plain vanilla progression.
The network also offers OneBlock, Slimefun, Duels, Lifesteal, BedWars, SkyBlock and other minigame-style options. A shop, auction house, bank system and ranks give the server a longer progression path beyond mining and building.
What Makes It Different
Amethyst Community puts custom RPG gear and dungeon bosses inside a hard-mode survival world, then adds several separate modes around it. The result feels broader than a normal SMP but more survival-focused than a pure minigame network.

Custom equipment, dungeon encounters, ranks, and extended character progression give the main survival mode a strong RPG structure.

History of Amethyst Community
Amethyst Community began around September 2021 as a small, whitelisted semi-vanilla SMP. The early server used lightweight plugins to add an economy, player shops, money-based levels, personal vaults, marriage features and community projects without abandoning the survival format.
By February 2022, the server was recruiting through a friendly, application-based community model. It moved through several seasonal eras during 2022, including Season 3, Season 4 and later Season 6. Those seasons kept the SMP foundation while expanding the plugin setup and social features.
The server later broadened beyond its original small whitelisted format. Survival was joined by Creative and Clan Wars, while public descriptions began emphasizing a larger network of game modes and a more open community experience.
By 2025 and 2026, Amethyst Community was operating as a multi-mode network at mc.amethystcommunity.net. Its advertised gameplay had shifted toward hard-mode survival, custom world generation, RPG equipment, dungeon bosses, economy systems and cross-edition access.
The present network combines that RPG survival core with OneBlock, Slimefun, Duels, Lifesteal, BedWars, SkyBlock and other combat or minigame options. It has grown from a seasonal community SMP into a broader network while keeping survival and social play at the center.
