About Adults Night Out SMP
Adults Night Out is a whitelisted 18+ SMP built for players who want survival without the usual public-server chaos. Java and Bedrock players share the same world, while land claims, CoreProtect, keep-inventory systems, and consent-based PvP protect the relaxed pace.
There is more to do than standard vanilla survival. Slimefun, mcMMO, Jobs, player shops, custom expansions, quality-of-life tools, and a separate resource world give the server a steady mix of building, gathering, trading, and progression. The main world is intended to last, so projects and towns have room to grow.
What Makes It Different
Adults Night Out makes the age gate part of the server's appeal. It combines an adult-only community with a lasting world, protected builds, optional PvP, and enough custom progression to stay interesting after the first diamond tools.
mcMMO is a Minecraft server skill system that grants experience for activities such as mining, chopping trees, fishing, and fighting.
mcMMO is one of the server's main progression systems.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The main world is intended to remain available for long-term projects.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Slimefun expansions and several custom systems add substantial content beyond vanilla.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a long-term survival SMP.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The shared community world and player-led building are central to the experience.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Jobs and player-run shops create an active trading layer.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Protected claims are a defining part of the server's safer survival style.
The main activity is cooperative survival across a permanent main world and a separate resource world. Timber, auto-replanting, chest sorting, XP storage, extra homes, /tpa, public warps, RTP, and waystones reduce the busywork around building and travel. A live map helps players plan builds and find important locations.
Progression comes from several systems working together. Slimefun adds machines, items, and custom expansions; mcMMO improves skills through normal play; Jobs reward different kinds of work; and playtime ranks provide earned perks. SilkSpawners, custom mining and fishing systems, and player shops add longer-term goals beyond ordinary equipment upgrades.
Slimefun is expanded with custom content, alongside PyroMining and PyroFishing systems, enhanced beacons, an unbreakable enchantment, plushies, pet tools, invisible item frames, image frames, custom armor stands, and other building-focused additions.
The main world is intended for permanent builds and long-running projects. A separate resource world is reset periodically for fresh materials. Established members can also access a creative freebuild server, including flat-building and plot-based areas.
PvP is consent-based rather than always-on. Players can fight when everyone involved agrees, but surprise attacks are not the focus. Land claims and CoreProtect protect builds, while keep-inventory and XP protection reduce the cost of accidental deaths.
Jobs provide a way to earn money through regular activity, while player-run shops handle much of the trading. The economy is built around players selling useful materials, resources, and crafted goods to one another instead of relying only on a central shop.
Events are run by both players and staff, with Discord serving as an important part of the community. Adult-oriented game nights, including Cards Against Humanity sessions, complement in-game activities and give the wider community something to do outside survival.
The community is for adults and uses Discord for applications, chat, support, announcements, and social activity. Discord integration connects the game and community spaces, while player suggestions help shape new features. The server also functions as a broader gaming community beyond Minecraft.
Players must be 18 or older, treat others respectfully, and avoid hate speech, harassment, griefing, theft, cheating, exploits, and unauthorized client tools. Bases should have at least 200 blocks of spacing unless players are working together, and all PvP must be consensual.
Community support helps pay for hosting, development, and new features. Playtime ranks and perks are earned by spending time on the server rather than being required purchases for normal progression.

History of Adults Night Out SMP
Adults Night Out was publicly active by March 27, 2025, as an 18+ whitelisted SMP centered on a fresh map, community play, Slimefun, mcMMO, jobs, land claims, and crossplay. Its early setup focused on giving adult players a calmer place to build and socialize without opening the world to unrestricted griefing or theft.
The server developed around a long-term main world rather than a short seasonal cycle. A separate resource world handled much of the destructive mining and gathering, allowing the main map to remain suitable for permanent bases, towns, shops, and large building projects.
As the server grew, its survival layer gained more depth. Slimefun expansions, mcMMO skills, Jobs, player-run shops, playtime ranks, SilkSpawners, Timber, XP storage, auto-replanting, chest sorting, public warps, and other small conveniences turned the world into a more feature-rich form of semi-vanilla survival.
Community protection stayed central through land claims and CoreProtect. Rules also developed around respectful behavior, no griefing or theft, base spacing, and consent for PvP. That combination kept conflict optional while leaving room for cooperation, trading, and player-led projects.
By July 2026, Adults Night Out had passed its first anniversary and was adding features based on player suggestions. Newer additions included relationship options, extra plushies, and pet-focused tools such as /tamed, alongside continued work from the development and administration teams.
The server now combines a persistent adult SMP with Java-Bedrock play, custom Slimefun content, a resource world, creative access for established members, Discord integration, a live map, and community events. Its long-term direction remains focused on expanding the shared world without losing its protected, social character.
